EVIDENCE: CULTURAL LITERACY AROUND THE WORLD

In 2017 we decided to travel to Southeast Asia with my wife since it was a dream for me to know
Indonesia, for its landscapes, fauna, temples and customs that characterize this beautiful country.

We were also in Singapore, Cambodia and Thailand.

Indonesians are very nice and helpful people like Thais and Cambodians, they always have a smile
on their faces and help you in whatever they need.

Something curious are their bathrooms since the toilet is on the floor and also do not use paper,
wash with water and use the left hand since it is impure for them. Most of the people are Muslim
and Hindu, their temples are very colorful, they highly respect their beliefs and customs. Singapore
is a small country but it is very well designed for the tourist since everything is connected to the
subway and most tourist sites are free.

In Thailand we fell in love with its beaches and its people, it is called the country of smiles and we
could verify that it is true. They quite like spicy in their meals and exotic food, as they eat
scorpions, spiders, roaches and other oddballs.

Those countries are incredible and going there is a unique experience, we walked in the jungle
among orangutans, we met the temples in Bali, we saw komodo dragons, we swam in beautiful
rivers, seas, waterfalls, we ate culinary delights at low cost.

Who would not be delighted to know these countries?

Cambodia was very gratifying since we were in a reserve where elephants take care, since in these
countries it is normal for them to exploit animals for tourism, since there are irresponsible people
who, by taking a “good photo”, do not know what is behind these people who exploit animals.

The Southeast Asian is beautiful.
