5. Install the Network Adapter and assign an IP Address, If ur system is a Stand alone System Add
Micro Soft Loop back Adapter
Start->Settings->Control Panel-> Add/Remove New hardware -> Next-> Add or Troubleshoot a device-
> select Add New Device->Next->Select No, I want to select the hardware from the list->Next->select
Network Adapters-> Next-> Select the Manufacturer Microsoft -> Microsoft Loop back Adapter->next ->
Finish
4. Assign IP Address
Click on Change
6. 1st Step towards installation : Our operating system is loaded in drive C: and we want to install SAP
on D: Drive
Note :- (At the time of installation of oradba.exe , a dialog box will be pop up for installation of net8
configuration, check the check box for typical configuration of net8
click net , it will end the oracle installation)
Assign the Java paths in My Computer -> Control Panel -> System properties-Advanced

Logon as SAPUSER and Initial Password ( What u was given at the time of user creation)
