Work Experience:

October 2018 - Present - ​Maintenance Technician - Thomson Plastics, Inc, Lexington, NC. Perform
corrective maintenance and modifications as necessary on Injection molding machines and robots. Injection
molding machines are toggle and hydraulic lock. All controlled by PLC controllers. Brands included
Cinncinati-Milacron, Demag, LG, Mitsubishi, Kawaguchi Star, Willet, and Sepro. Trouble shooting to board
level without documentation and component level with appropriate schematics. Also changed the Plant
electrical distribution to work in the correct way. Designed and installed safety fixtures.

October 2013 - August 2018 - ​Maintenance Technician - Caraustar Custom Packaging, Randleman, NC.
Performed Corrective and preventive maintenance on the equipments associated with the production of paper
board consumer packaging, Followed food safety production rules. Equipment included High Speed Printing
Presses, Board Sheeters, Die Cutters, Compressors and Folder Gluers. Also performed electrical wiring,
hydraulic and pneumatic repair. Modified equipments as necessary to improve speed and efficiency.

2011 - 2013 - ​Machinery Maintenance Technician - Olympic Products, LLC, Greensboro, NC. Responsible
for the maintenance and repair of all plant equipment during the course of the second shift. This included all
mechanical and electrical work. Charged with maintaining the 5S program as well as maintaining repair parts
inventory. Troubleshot, modified and repaired PLC operated equipments. Equipments included Foam Peelers.
Laminator, Saws, Conveyors and Hydraulic Balers.
2008 - 2011 - ​Handyman - Self Employed - Repaired and remodeled homes and other existing structures.
Installed and repaired Garage Doors and Openers. Removed and installed flooring, This included carpentry,
electrical, paint and drywall, cabinet installation and plumbing. All work was performed to customer
satisfaction and applicable codes,

2003 - 2004, 2006-2008 - ​Plant Maintenance Tech - WireTech Fabricators, Inc, Sturgeon Bay, WI, -
Performed preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide variety of equipments, including rotary and
hydraulic presses, NC wire forming machines, robots, welders, conveyors and other machinery associated with
the production of formed wire products as well as all of the physical plant equipment, power and distribution
networks. Repaired AC and DC drives, and other electronic equipment to component level.

management of a successful retail store, including freight, stocking, cash handling, bookkeeping and personnel
matters. Also responsible for loss prevention and relations with outside contractors.

ceramic and engineered flooring materials. Also performed finish carpentry and residential electrical work.

1993 - 2002 - ​Marine Electrician ​- Bay Shipbuilding Co. Sturgeon Bay, WI - Performed preventive and
corrective maintenance on commercial and USCG vessels electrical systems, motors and control systems.
Assisted in the construction of new commercial ships, dredges, and ferries. Also performed corrective and
preventive maintenance on the yard’s cranes, power and communication systems.

1988 = 1991 - ​Test Technician - Peterson Builders, Inc, Sturgeon Bay, WI - Installed, modified, repaired and
performed acceptance testing on the radar, sonar, navigation, IFF, and ROV underwater robots for the U. S.
Navy’s MCM class Minesweepers.

1985 - 1992 - ​Lead Technician - Royal Saudi Naval Forces, King Abdul Aziz Naval Base, Jubail, Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia - Performed corrective and preventive maintenance on the radar, sonar, communication, IFF,
navigation and fire control systems aboard ships of the Royal Saudi Navy. Planned and performed equipment
intermediate and higher level maintenance during vessel yard periods. Trained local personnel in the operation
and maintenance of their systems, Developed operational guidelines for the use of their combat systems.

1973 - 1984 - ​Electronics Technician First Class - U. S. Navy - Specialized in the operation, maintenance,
repair, and modification of military ,radar, sonar, IFF, navigation and communications systems. Performed all
administrative and leadership tasks associated with the smooth running of a shipboard electronics division.
Also performed collateral duties as Assistant Chief Master-At-Arms to maintain order and discipline aboard a
Naval Vessel.
