Choose one guideline to practice under the Fundamental canon of ethics then write an essay about a
certain situation where you can apply it in Civil Engineering Profession.

For me I chose Fundamental canon of ethics number 7 which is Civil Engineers shall continue
their professional development throughout their careers, and shall provide opportunities for the
professional development of those engineers under their supervision I chose this because as we graduate
and get our license in the future there is still a lot to learn aside from what we learned from our Bachelor’s
Degree we do still need to learn furthermore on our field that’s why there’s an opportunity to get Masters
and Doctorate Degree. Even you can also attend seminars like COSH, BOSH and Conventions. Lastly
you also have a responsibility to develop and teach people around you to become better or even best of
themselves.
