ORIENTATION CAMP 2019

BACK UP DETAILED SCHEDULED

DAY 1
TIME ACTIVITY PI
12.30pm - 2.00pm Preparations Every
Comm

12.10pm - 12.30pm : -
- Every committees arrange the class 2 Hijau and put our
luggage in the class.
- After that, change to Full-U and gather at canteen.
If we didn’t get to use the lecture theatre, we will need to
arrange the class 4 stem 1 for SCs.

12.30pm - 1.50pm : -
- 3 Groups :
Group 1 : CC, Hong Yan, Joshua, PHs
- Set the boundary for their campsites at field.
- Prepare every items needed to set up the Kitchen Table and
Canopy.

Group 2 : ACC, Jin Hong, Aidan, Secretaries, Dylan


- Prepare all campsites items and place them in front of scout
den. (according to patrol)

Group 3 : QM Foods
- Arrange the canteen and place every items needed.

- SMs will be at the main entrance of the school and will


bring the participants to the science lab area (place where
the participants put their luggage).

1.50pm : -
- Every committees gather at the back of the stage.

- If rain, don’t need to do the preparations (except for QM


Foods). Other committees will help the participants to carry
their luggage.
- If the rain stop, proceed with the preparations.

2.00pm - 3.10pm Opening Ceremony CC


ACC

- Emcees : Secretaries
- If rain, QM Tools and PHs will shift all campsites items
under shade and place them behind the hall. (according to
patrol)
- The rest of the committees will just proceed with Opening
Ceremony.

CC fall in all participants at Hall before the camp starts.

- If rain stop, participants will shift their campsites items


and luggage to field and start to develop their campsites.
- Follow back detailed schedule.
- If rain never stop, participants and committees will
proceed to base games.

* QM Foods continue preparing food for participants.
* CC and ACC will roaming at the field.
- QM Foods fall in QM , AQM at 4.15pm to take food and
start to prepare fire pit.

5.30pm - 6.10pm Dinner / Bath CC


VENUE : Canteen ACC
ATTIRE : Half-U

- First Aider : Aidan / Hong Yan

5.10pm : -
- Base leaders start to clean up their bases [5mins].
- CC fall in all participants at hall, give them [5mins] to take
their eating utensils.

5.15pm : -
- All participants proceed to Canteen and have their dinner.
[30mins]
- SMs will eat at the same times with participants.
- After dinner, participants have to clean their eating utensils
and bath.

5.50pm : -
- Bath [30mins], after bath change to Full-U.
* All participants must bath.
- SMs will at toilet to prevent any accidents if there are.
- The rest of the committees will eat from (5.50pm - 6.10pm)

6.25pm : -
- All participants fall in at Hall in Full-U with their flag.

5.30pm - 7.00pm : -
- Thaneesh and Dineshwaran on duty.

6.30pm - 8.10pm Ice Breaking CC


Aidan
VENUE : Hall.
ATTIRE : Full-U.

- First Aider : Aidan / Hong Yan


- Bong will stay in canteen.
- Only CC and Aidan will stay with the participants until the
end of ice breaking session.
- Aidan will go invite the SCs to ice breaking.
- The rest of the committees will leave at 7.10pm.

6.30pm : -
- Ice breaking
- Each patrol will be given [10mins] to perform their flag.

7.10pm : -
- Committees go prepare every items needed for night hike
(etc tables, candles, wig, torchlight and so on)
- Committees proceed to their check points. (by themselves)
- Hong Yan will brief the committees by going through their
check points. (one by one)
- After the briefing, switch off all the light and ACC will
proceed with night hike test.
- Committees stay in their check point after the test.

8.10pm : -
- CC fall in all participants at Quad and ask participants to get
their talisman with them [10mins]
- Do a headcount on participants and proceed to Canteen.
7.00pm - 9.00pm : -
- Desmond and Nigel on duty.

8.10pm - 10.30pm Night Hike CC


ACs

ATTIRE : Full-U

- First Aider : Aidan / Hong Yan


- CC will brief the participants.
- Bong stay in canteen and start to prepare supper at
11.40pm.

9.00pm - 12.00am : -
- Arvindran and Satish on duty.

10.30pm - 11.00pm Short Break CC

- Do a headcount on them before they rest


- Let participants go back to their classrooms and change to
Mufti.
- QM Foods can start to prepare supper.
- The rest of the committees go arrange the class 3 Hijau.

11.00pm - 11.30pm Supper QM Fo

VENUE : Canteen
ATTIRE : Mufti
11.00pm : -
- All participants proceed to canteen with their cups. [5mins]
- CC will call them patrol by patrol to take their supper.
- They are given [20mins] to eat.

- Participants who finish eating can go clean their eating


utensils and sleep.
- Participants who still feel hungry can have second round.
- By 11.30pm, all participants are required to finish their supper
and proceed back to classrooms.
- Participants change to Mufti before fall asleep.

11.30pm : -
- All committees will have supper from (11.30pm - 11.50pm)

12.00am - 2.00am : -

- All committees are required to wake up at 6.00am except for


QM Foods (5.30am)
- QM Foods start to prepare breakfast once finish wash up.
(5.40am - 6.30am)
- Committees wake the participants up at 6.30am and gather
them at form1 corridor. [5mins]
- Once everyone gathered, proceed to Hall [10mins].
- If rain stop proceed to quad.
- Follow the detailed schedule.
6.45am - 7.05am Morning Exercise CC
Jin Hong
VENUE: School Shaded Compound (form1corridor-
science lab-office-hall cooridoor-canteen)
ATTIRE : Mufti

- Jin Hong will guide them to run 2 rounds.


* Sing song while running.
- The rest of the committees take care of participants.
* Make sure the participants stay alert all the times.

6.00am - 8.00am : -
- Thaneesh and Dinesh on duty.
- If rain stop, continue with this schedule
7.05am - 7.30am Breakfast QM Foods

VENUE : Canteen

- First Aider : Aidan / Hong Yan

- CC ask them to go get their eating utensils and gather back at


canteen. [3mins]
- CC call them patrol by patrol to take their breakfast.
- Participants is given 20mins to eat.
- SMs and PHs will eat breakfast at the same time with
participants.
- CC, ACC, ACs, Secretaries, Aidan, QM Tools will
entertain the participants while they are waiting.

After breakfast : -
- Participants may proceed back to their campsites and change
to Full-U.

- If rain stops, continue with this schedule


7.30am - 8.10am Morning Inspection CC

- SMs and PHs will prepare for marching competitions.
* Set the perimeter for marching competition.
* Prepare the materials for judging.
* Arrange the tables and chairs on the stage.

7.40am : -
- CC will fall in PL 7, 8, 9 for 2nd Opening Ceremony.

- First Aider : Aidan / Hong Yan


- CC, ACC and Aaron will be the judges. ( on stage )
- Each patrol is given minimum 3mins and maximum 5mins
to perform.
- CC blow the whistle at 3mins of their performing time.
- Hong Yan will take care of participants.

8.10am : -
- Jin Hong, Aidan, Nigel, Bong, QM Tools, SMs and PHs
will prepare for Amazing Race.
- Soh and Fang stay in canteen and start to prepare food for
backwoods cooking at 9.10am.
- If rain stop, others participant will go and continue
their campsite development, then there will only have 2
patrol in the hall. One marching one waiting. When the
one marching has done, the waiting patrol will
proceed, then the patrol that finish marching will go
call for the next patrol. In a ascending order.
- Jin Hong, Aidan, Nigel, Bong, QM Tools, SMs and PHs
will prepare for Amazing Race. Outside the school
compound.
9.10am - 11.30am Amazing Race CC
ACC

VENUE : Inside The School Hong Yan

ATTIRE : Full-U

- First Aider : Hong Yan / Aidan


- 22min play 2min change base

9.10am : -
- All participants fall in at Hall
- Hong Yan start to brief them for next activity.
* CC and Hong Yan will be passing them the clues.
* After that, participants can straight proceed to their
respective station that is state on the clues.
- Aaron proceed to his station

9.20am : -
- CC and ACC eat first before proceed to amazing race
(9.20am - 9.40am)

- CC, ACC, Hong Yan will be roaming around the area used
and can join the games if want.
- If rain stop before the activity start, we do it same as
detailed schedule. But if the rain stop during the
activity, we follow back this schedule.
11.30am - 12.00pm Short Break CC

VENUE : Hall Way


ATTIRE : Half-U

11.40am : -
- Let them change to Half-U
11.50am:-
- Gather them in front of toilet with their eating utensils
12.00pm:-
- Let them go to canteen patrol by patrol

* Other committee will go to canteen also.

11.30am - 1.30pm : -

12.00pm - 3.30pm Backwoods Cooking

VENUE : Canteen

- They are given 1 hour to eat. (12.00pm - 1.00pm)

- ACs, Secretaries, Aidan, QM Tools, QM Foods, SMs and


PHs will eat from (1.00pm - 1.30pm)
- After that, go prepare for pioneering session
* Set the boundary for Form 1s till Form 3s
* Prepare all items needed (etc broomsticks, raffia string and
so on)
- CC, ACC and Fang will stay in canteen and entertain the
participants.

1.00pm : -
- Participants are required to clean up the canteen and their
eating utensils [30mins] and proceed with campsite
development. (If rain stop)
- CC and ACC will eat from (1.30pm - 2.00pm), after that
proceed to Form 1 corridor.

3.30pm : -
- CC fall in all participants at toilet area and brief them
about the pioneering session.

1.30pm - 3.30pm : -
- Dylan and Joshua on duty.

- If rain stop before the activity start, we do it same as


detailed schedule. If the rain stop during the activity,
then we follow this schedule. Then after they eat, they
can continue with their campsite development

3.30pm - 5.10pm Pioneering ACC
Hong Yan
VENUE : Form1Corridor

- Fang stay in canteen.
- CC, ACC and Hong Yan will patrol at the area used.

- Hourglass.

* Divide the participants into 2 groups, each group


maximum 10 people.
* Teach them if they don’t know how to build the gadget
* Using broomsticks and raffia

4.50pm : -
- Participants have to untie everything and return back every
items [20mins].

3.30pm - 5.30pm : -
- Jeremy and Davin on duty.
- If rain stop before activity start, we do it same as
detailed schedule. If stop during activity, we follow
back this schedule
5.10pm - 6.00pm Flag Closing Ceremony / Bath CC

VENUE : Toilet
ATTIRE : Full-U after bath

- Bath [40mins], after bath, participants proceed back to their


campsites.
- Committees will bath at the same time with participants.
(take turns to bath)

- Start to prepare mass dinner.


* Once the uncle reached, help the uncle to carry the food and
place them at the most front of the canteen.
* Emcees go prepare script.
* Place the podium in the canteen.
* Ushers : Damond and Jin Hong

5.55pm : -
- CC fall in the participants at the toilet area and ask them
proceed to canteen patrol by patrol.
- Hong Yan will bring them to their seats.

5.30pm - 8.00pm : -
- Thaneesh and Dinesh on duty.
6.00pm - 8.30pm Mass Dinner CC

- They will be performing their sketch
- Each patrol is given 7mins.
- Bong (PA) will get ready the laptop and play some songs for
tests.
- After sketch, participants will be dancing with some songs
[50mins]
- PA take care of sound systems.

9.40pm - 10.30pm : -
- CC will explain what’s the definition of this event
(to make the bond between us stronger)
- All participant will be dancing in a circle
- All committee will be involve.
- Teach the form1 to dance.
- CC will guide them.

10.30pm - 11.00pm Howling CC

- Fang stay in canteen and start to prepare supper at
10.30pm.

- CC fall in all participants at Hall and ask them go get their
cups. [5mins]

- After finish supper, go arrange the class 3 Hijau.

- CC will call them patrol by patrol to take their supper.
- They are given 20mins to eat.
- CC, ACC, ACs, Aidan, Secretaries and QM Tools will
entertain the participants.

- Committees also will be having their breakfast same time
with participants. (7.00am - 7.20am)
- After breakfast, committees change to Full-U and proceed to
Form 1 Corridor.

- 3rd Opening Ceremony (PL 3, 4, 5) (CC in charge)

- Morning Inspection (7.30am - 8.50am)

with their luggage.

- Participants can go wash up.
- ACC will at toilet to prevent any accidents if happen.
- Participants change to Half-U after wash up and start to
clean up their campsites.
- CC will be roaming at the field.
- ACs, Bong, Aidan, Aaron, QM Tools, SMs and PHs will
bring down the gadget and canopy [1hour].
- Soh and Fang start to clean up the canteen.

Once the gadget are down : -


- 2 Groups :

A) ACs, QM Foods, Aidan and Aaron


- Arrange back the canteen and return back every items to
scout den.

B) QM Tools, SMs and PHs


- Put back every items and proceed to scout den area.
- Make sure the participants put back the campsites items
properly.

10.20am : -
- All base leaders proceed to their bases for clean up session.
10.25am : -
- CC fall in all participants at Toilet Area.
- Hong Yan will brief the participants about the next activity.

8.50 am - 10.30am : -
- Desmond and Nigel on duty.

- Do the last check of school before go back.
- Return back every items that is borrowed from school.
