IV. COURSE DESCRIPTION

● This course aims to develop skills on Scientific


Approaches and the basic concepts of Biological,
Physical and Environmental Sciences. This
course deals with exciting aspects of the sciences
like biology, meteorology, environmental and
human interventions. It also focuses on the
different effects brought about by man’s modern
life-styles of living and the different laws on the
environment. It also focuses on the different
effects brought about by natural hazards.
Managing and marketing the natural environment
in all aspects of man’s existence in accordance
with the existing laws of man and the environment
V. PRE-REQUISITE none VI. COURSE OBJECTIVES

● At the end of the semester, students are expected to:


● 1. Understand and cite important roles of sciences in
the modern world.
● 2. Apply the concepts of science-technology in
daily routines.
● 3. Appreciate and demonstrate skills in environmental
sciences.
● Develop analytical thinking in different fields involving
environmental sciences.
● Develop awareness on improvements, effects and
factors affecting life.
● Show concern on the environment and management of
environment.
