Eposist HBS: Marine & Protective Coatings

This document provides information on EPOSIST HBS, a high-build surface tolerant anti-corrosive coating based on special epoxy resin. Description High-build surface tolerant anti-corrosive coating based on special epoxy resin.
Excellent resistance to moisture, weathering and mechanical load.

Recommended use Can be applied even on simple hand tool cleaned surfaces for ship's hull, decks,
water ballast tanks, holds and industrial structures.

Certification Tested for non-contamination of grain cargo at the Newcastle Occupational Health
(NHS 7530/04), Great Britain.

Surface preparation Remove grease, oil contamination with thinner or cleaning agents. Minimum
surface preparation St 2. Can be applied on old paint film with good adhesion.
Loose old paint flakes have to be removed properly.

Recommended paint system 1 - 2 x EPOSIST HBS Please consult our technical department
for repair and maintenance procedures.

Overcoatability Can be over-coated with same material and WILKOPOX, WILKOR, WILKONYL or
EPOSIST Systems for under water area. In case of over coating with WILKOTAN
BTD and WILKOR BTD top coats, please contact our technical department.
