Letter of Motivation

Academic Background:
I completed my masters in Economics from the “Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University”
Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan, in August 2014, with a CGPA of 3.57 out of 4. I was active and
somehow indulge student during my graduate studies, very often involved in many curricular and
extra-curricular activities. In fact, I was upto mark and honored in the top 10’s lists of 80
students in my graduate class. If observed by the meritorious I remained competent in all entry as
well as institutes tests.
I did my research report in 4th semester named “Terrorism and its Impact on the Economy: A
case study of Pakistan”. While after working on these topics I really learn about Economic
Techniques and data handling by using different Analysis softwares. While working on the
report I found strong motivation in myself toward higher studies and research in the area of
Economics.
I got fully funded provincial scholarship during my graduate studies named “PEEF”, also got
laptop from provincial government through Youth Initiative Program by Chief Minister of
Punjab on my academic basis.
Now a days, I am MPhil scholar of Economics (3rd Semester) at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid
Agriculture University. I devoted myself for hard working, never lay down front of any problem.
I have keen interest in research, I try my best to learn new things from my seniors and give good
output. Recently, I published my research paper in “The Explorer”, a journal of social sciences,
named “Good Governance as a tool to Combat Inflation”. In this publication I check the impact
of the dimensions of good governance on inflation either they relate in short run as well as long
run.

My Personality:
By fact, I am socially active person with friendly nature, a good communicator indeed who is
blessed with many friends. I keep a keen view to the reality of life thus approach people with
positive mind and attitude and always prove to be helpful with honest efforts and true dedication.
Besides that I always feel very joyous and fortunate to meet and greet people belonging to
different backgrounds and cultures. As such meetings are always important because they prove
to be beneficial in future also it makes things easy to cope whether one works or studies in his
own country or outside the country.

Job Experience:

I served a construction company for two years named RAMCO Builders and Estate on the post
of Assistant Manager within the duration of 10 August 2012 to 18 September 2014. I have great
experience of this job. My duty is to assist the manager via document preparation, reporting to
manager, arranging meetings, respond to calls & emails and attend the client in the absence of
Manager.

Reasons to job in USA Embassy:

Now the question arises “Why USA Embassy?” Reading the books, watching the news,
analyzing and observed the people of USA, I am really impressed by the way these individuals
have proved themselves to be dedicated to their work and true efforts they have set USA as a
successful example for other developed countries. The fast growing economy, technological
advancement and the global ranking companies of USA with high reputation makes a great
aspiration to the students and professionals for the better career perspectives. Thus such kind of
positivity has boosted my confidence further and I am highly satisfied with the decision I have
taken.

I am excellent candidate for the post of Program Assistant. I am self-disciplined and highly
motivated to achieve my goals. I have very high expectations of myself and do not accept failure.
I know that I can positively represent Pakistani thought, culture and scholasticism in USA
Embassy and out of embassy I positively represent USA as an employee of its Embassy.
Concluding it, with high hopes I believe this application will receive your favorable
