6.4 Load Weighing Device (LWO)


The purpose of the LWD
The measured load The LWD is used to give the elevator a good and smooth start. Before
information is only used the elevator starts, the L WD measures the load of the car. Then, the
before the elevator start to V3F18. unit utilizes this load information and calculates the torque
guarantee the motor torque needed for car movement. The main principle is to keep the current as

The LWD sensor and amplifier (LCEVTC board) are installed on the
rope fixing. The RCB board inside the V3F 18 drive receives the load
signal from LCEVTC board and transmits it to the LOPCB board in the
MAP panel.
