1St QCPD Advisory Council Summit

The two-day summit focused on strengthening the role of Advisory Councils in assisting local police stations. Day 1 included opening ceremonies, presentations on the PATROL 2030 transformation initiative and the role of Advisory Councils, and workshops for Advisory Council members to discuss how they can support police stations in 5 major areas. Day 2 involved ocular visits to selected police station sites to observe operations and identify areas for Advisory Council assistance. The goal was for Advisory Councils to develop stronger partnerships with local police in improving community safety and security.
