The University of Dodoma: School of Mines and Petroleum Engineering

The document contains instructions and questions for a fluid mechanics test. Question 1 asks students to explain key fluid mechanics concepts like viscosity, surface tension, and cavitation. Question 2 involves calculating pressure, velocity, and flow rate, as well as using a manometer. Question 3(a) requires calculating discharge and pressure given a siphon diagram. Question 3(b) involves calculating forces and the center of pressure on a submerged vertical plate. The test covers key concepts of fluid statics and dynamics.
