Where to find free ebook readers

For IOS:
You can get a Kindle App from itunes here. You can also get the iBooks reader, which you can download
here.

For Android:
For your Android device, you can download the necessary apps from the Google Play store or a free
Kindle reader from here.

For PC:
You can download a Kindle app for your PC from here.

For Mac:
You can get the free Kindle app from the Apps area here. You can also download direct from Amazon
from here.

Where to download a free zip utility

For Windows
One of the top apps is WinZip, which you can download for free from here.

For Mac
One of the top app is IZip, which you can download for free from here.

How to download and save the files

1. If you received an email with download links, click on the links.


2. If you received login information to access the files, log in and go to the book page, where you can download the file(s).
3. Click on the link to start downloading the file.
4. Choose where you want to download the file, then click Save

Default download locations


For PC BIG FAT IMPORTANT NOTE:
You CAN NOT download and open these files on a
\Users\<username>\Downloads mobile device.

For MAC You must download to a desktop or laptop, then transfer


to a mobile device or read on your computer.
/Users/<username>/Downloads

● Locate the file you downloaded. It will end with the extension
.zip
● Most “unzipping” programs will work automatically by double
clicking the file.
● You can also right click and open the zip file with your
unzipping program.
● After the files are unzipped, they are normally stored in a folder
inside the original folder.
● Inside that folder will be the book files

Iphone & Ipad:


1. Download the file from the link to your computer and make sure you have the latest version of iTunes
(itunes.com) on your computer before continuing.

2. Using your USB cable, plug your iPad or iPhone into your computer. iTunes will automatically add the iPad or
iPhone to its Devices list in the left-hand column. To get started, click the iPad or iPhone from the Devices list.

2. Next, click the Apps tab in the main iTunes window.

4. Scroll down to the File Sharing section of the Apps tab in iTunes and click the Kindle application from the Apps
list. A list of the app’s currently installed e-books will display in the Documents box to the right.

Click Add... to find the .mobi file on your computer, then click Open. You can also drag and drop the .mobi file into
the Documents box in iTunes.

5. When you’re ready, click Sync at the bottom of the screen. The e-book will be immediately available through the
Kindle application on your iPad or iPhone.

Android:

1. Save the MOBI file to a convenient location on your computer, such as the desktop.

2. On your device, tap the Google Play Store or Amazon App Store icon, then find the Kindle for
Android app and install it.

3. Attach your phone or tablet to your computer using the USB cable that came with the device.

4. Wait for your computer to recognize the device, then click the Start Globe and select Computer to open Windows Explorer.

5. Under Portable Devices, find and double-click Kindle and move the window aside. Note: the Android operating system
handles the device’s file system in different ways.

6. Find the MOBI file you saved in step 1, then drag-and-drop it into the device’s Kindle folder you opened in Step 5.

7. Wait for the file to transfer and safely eject the device from your computer.

8. Open the Kindle app. The ebook should appear on the device’s Home screen.
