MCGD Issue
MCGD Issue
1. MCGD – This Report provides the retail sales information along with value. Data of this
report fetches from two tables which is S120 and S121.
2. In HANA 1909, All the Set tables has been obsoleted as a part of dependency this report has
also been obsoleted from standard output.
Solution
1. TFS business team requested for the same reports or alternative of those reports .CG team
has agreed to build a report with the same values in the output using other standard tables
i.e.VBRK,VBRP,KONP & PRCDELEMENTS.
2. Post UAT confirmation for ZMCGD developed to meet the day to day business operations,
TFS business team has requested for output option which is like standard option called
“Transfer to XXL”, With multiple input parameters which is entirely a new report.
3. In SAP ECC which has a set of tables to collect the consolidated information which has an
output option in “Transfer to XXL option”.
4. IN S/4 HANA those tables and underlaying programs are no more given by SAP and SAP have
communicated the same over the incident number 484567 raised to SAP.
5. Output of MCGD and ZMCGD were same when we finalized the layout with TFS business
team, Once the layout of this report is approved the Functional and technical team has
started developing this report.
6. Since the business user was already using this report, Transfer to XXL option has never been
discussed with CG team before developing this report or at the time of UAT.
7. This has been communicated to CG team post UAT confirmation from TFS business team.
8. CG team has replied over the email and confirmed this cannot be possible in the same
ZMCGD report, and it can deliver as separate new report considering new logic in place.
9. Refer below screen shots of input and output parameters of both reports in ECC and S/4
Hana.
MCGD- Input Parameters
MCGD- Output
As per above screen shot , MCGD report output meant for consolidated data, Also have an
option to select article and other parameters wise except store. User need to select an
option “Switch Drilldown” on the top of the screen to select the output as per business
requirement.
As per above screen shot there is not site specific data as an output in the standard report ,
SAP has provided an option to fetch the site wise information as a separate parameter in the
same report using set tables S120 and S121 in SAP ECC.
As per the above screen shot , We have provided the “Switch drill down parameters which I
have shown in standard report in above screen shots and the same was designed after
discussing with TFS business.
Output Parameters
Business team has confirmed the report layout of ZMCGD and requested the changes post
UAT.
