Tautopathy is a method of curing side effects of drugs using potentized versions of the same drugs. It aims to remove obstacles caused by modern wonder drugs that interfere with homeopathic treatment. Tautopathic drugs can be proven and included in the homeopathic materia medica. While homeopathy alone can claim to effect true cures, tautopathy helps address drug diseases and side effects caused by antibiotics, hormones, and other modern drugs in order to facilitate homeopathic treatment. The overuse of antibiotics, hormones, and other drugs is shown to negatively impact the body's natural defenses and resistance to disease.

WHAT IS TAUTOPATHY?

Tautopathy (Tauto-same) is a method of curing or removing

bad or side effects of drugs by iso-intoxication, i. e., curing by means
of the identical harmful agent in potentised form.

It is not the science of similars but that of the identicals. Even

you cannot think of Isopathy with it. It is more than that. Isopathy
is the theory that a disease may be cured or prevented by admini-
stering one or more of its own products. You may say that the
Isopathy in the case of the Serum & Vaccine is potentiated, some-
what as in Homoeopathy and therefore removes it from the identical
sphere. I say, a big No. Although potentiated, it does not alter the
fact that it was not in the first place similar, but identical. In the
second place, it has been potentiated in mass production and poten-
tiated and filtered, not through an inert substance, but through living
creatures and a lower order of creatures. So it (Isopathy) does not
take the place of Homoeopathy and not at all of Tautopathy. Tauto-
pathic drugs have two advantages. They can be proved according
to Homoeopathic "Proving" and can be assimilated in Homoeo-
pathic Materia Medica (which I am doing, clinically, as proving
according to Homoeopathy requires men and money and it is my
experience that Homoeopaths won't allow me to prove these drugs
on them to save money for Homoeopathy) and can be given to antidote
the bad-effects of crude or offending and harmful identical agents.

At this moment I want to warn my readers that not the least do

I want to go away from Homoeopathic Principles but just I want to
remove some "obstacles to recovery in each case" which are coming
up in the way of Homoeopathy in Modern "Wonder drugs'' era.
Tautopathy cannot cure all types of drug diseases but it can help to
cure many and varied cases.

"Tautopathy is indirect Homoeopathy. It is Homoeopathy

minus actual proving of the drugs on healthy proven. It is used on
the basis of (i) Causative factor (abuse of the corresponding drug)
and <ii) The symptoms produced as side effects of the abused drug."
2

"Tautopathic drugs have nothing to do with allomthy on the

following grounds (i) they are used on the basis of symptoms produced
by the crude drug on diseased persons (unhealthy provers) (ii) they
are prepared strictly in the process of Homoeopathic pharmaceutical
discipline (iii) they are used in potencies." (Dr. J. N. Kanjilal)

It is the duty of every physician to avail himself of all the re-

sources of hygiene, sanitation, and surgery, but it is also his duty to
put prejudice aside and investigate the claims of a method of
medication which can show such marked results as does Tautopathy.

No doubt Homoeopathy alone of all therapeutic methods can

legitimately claim to effect true cures by medication as distinguished
from recoveries. But in the present era Homoeopathy suffers a set-
back due to the use of present day most powerful wonder drugs,
with their bad effects, creating drug diseases. These bad effects,
and drug diseases are to be removed to effect a true cure before we
prescribe Homoeopathic drug. Here is a new feather (Tautopathy)
in the cap of Homoeopathy. It can win for itself a corner in your
heart, if you have any.

"Few seem to realise that a very large part of the disease met with
in ordinary practice is the result of what may be called involuntary
poisoning. Symptoms are constantly appearing in our clinical
records which are the product of drugs, either self-administered or
ignorantly prescribed by that class of physicians who are forever
prescribing for the result of their own drugging without knowing it."

"The Key to correct diagnosis and good therapy rests for the
most part in well documented history, never slighting the review of
systems and history, of drug intake." (Dr. W. O. West.)

"Before the era of Antibiotics and Sulphonamides, it was already

the practice to influence and check infection by non-specific therapy."
(Thampan & Bergschmidt), And with that the resistance of the
body against disease was created first in the body. "But as regards
the resistance of the body, it has been noted that antibiotics unfavour-
ably influence the defence mechanisms in the human body, a fact
which has been confirmed also by animal experiments. It was found
3

that the administration of Penicillin in healthy individuals causes a

decrease in the leucocyte counts." (Galnsslen and Lehmann). "I
was amazed at the toxic possibilities after the exhibition of the sulpha
drugs and penicillin-confusional psychosis, anuria, epilepsy, glossitis-
in fact, the ultimate results seem rather unpredictable and one wonders
what the patient may have to pay for the gains achieved. The anti-
biotic's action is a directly lethal one over the other bacteria and the
abrupt change in the bacterial flora, of the respiratory and alimentary
tracts is likely to have consequences which we cannot at present
foresee. How far the patient's normal defence mechanisms are
modified by the use of Sulpha drugs and antibiotics remains to be
seen." (Sir John Weir M. D., G. C. V. O. Physician to Queen
Elizabeth of England.)

Again, "Antibiotics in the usual dosage do not effect complete

destruction of the micro-organisms, because they act mainly as
bacteriostatics. The final destruction of the germs is therefore, left
to the body's own defences, e. g., phagocytosis, anti-body formation,
bactericidal activity of the serum (or in one word 'Vital Stimulators'
which I have coined) etc." (Thalhammer, Replot, Chemsuz, Vogt,
Gunther.)

In modern "Wonder drug" treatment, all the emphasis is on

cures for diseases, specifics against certain germs, Talle Causam!
Find the germ tranquiliser and then kill it with the largest doses of
antibiotic that the patient will stand. But in the majority of diseases
the germ found is not the complete cause of the trouble, it may be only
an associated factor. Again, there is a balance of power among the
bacteria which Chemotherapy may disturb with dangerous results
as when "Staphylococci in a lung abscess are killed off by Penicillin
only to allow quiescent tubercle bacilli to flourish and exceed their
deadly excavations." Moreover we must respect vis medicatrix
nature. No antibiotic, however powerful, will save the patient if the
vital spark of healing and resistance is lacking.

It is now definite that the wonder drugs, and habit forming drugs
like Hormones create untold miseries to patients. "Allergic reactions
can practically happen after any sort of medication. By no means
do they represent a characteristic of Antibiotics. Some substances
4

(barbiturates, some antipyrotics, neoars-phenamine, Sulphonamides,

bromium etc.) seem to be more dangerous in this respect than others.
Allergic shocks are many on records during antibiotic treatment"
(Bergschmidt.) "Indiscriminate use has caused an increasing number of
serious and sometimes fatal reactions. Most antibiotic pres-
criptions written for the common cold 'Flu' and similar viral diseases
and undiagnosed fevers are unnecessary," writes Dr. Gerand Eastman
of the Department of Medicine of the State University of New York
Medical School.

Penicillin made its initial appearance on the civilian scene in

1945 as an authentic Miracle of modern medicine. But today, we
are fast approaching the sobering realisation that penicillin might
not be such a blessing after all and more than a few doctors are seriously
beginning to wonder about the wonder drug.

"The most exhaustive work to date was the nationwide survey of

serious reactions to antibiotics reported on last October (1958) at the
Antibiotic Symposium held in Washington D. C. covering a fair
sampling of 29% of alt hospital beds in the United States from 1954
to 1956. Statistics revealed that 2517 persons in the Hospitals under
scrutiny experienced such bad reactions to penicillin that they had to
receive special treatment for side-effects. "Penicillin is the anti-
biotic causing the greatest number of reactions and one most fre-
quently involved in fatal cases" (The Editor, the Journal of the American
Medical Association 1958.) Has anyone ever heard of Homoeo-
pathy causing these dangerous after effects in the treatment of the
sick? And lastly Drs. R. A. Kern and N. A. Wimberley have said
that "the best way to present a penicillin reaction, in a potentially or
proven sensitive patient, is to give another drug." But then in years
to come out of 170 million now living in U. S. A. 17 million persons will
develop adverse reaction to penicillin, which is forecast by an expert.
And so a new Era may come which is now on side-scene-—The Era
of Hormone Therapy. History is repeating itself. We are getting
into another era where treatment is unsound, unscientific and
definitely harmful. "The germ immunization that are developing,
sensitivities that are developing, are becoming very dangerous.
Caught up as were many people by the wave of enthusiasm for the so-
called 'wonder drugs' I must plead guilty to having employed them."
5

(Dr. H. E. Reed M. D.) There now exists the vitamin Era. There
can be no doubt about the necessity of vitamins for the general well
being of an individual. There are many people suffering from
avitaminosis from improper diet. Still, a large percentage of people
do not surfer from avitaminosis and still have colds. When this
period of wishful prescribing of vitamins for all ailments passes, a
sane level of vitamin therapy will be established, which will have
its place in medicine. To the Hahnemannian it is amusing and
instructive to watch the perpetual rise and fall of allopathic medical
theories.

"Disturbances in the intestinal bacterial flora have been observed

during antibiotic treatment predominantly after the oral admini-
stration of Broad-Spectrum antibiotics "(Thampan & Bergschmidt).
"A higher rate of relapse has been observed, when the introduction
of chloramphenical is done in the treatment of Typhoid" (Laporte
and Fritel, Vorlaender and Schnutz.) Again, Chemotherapy throws
out of gear the natural defense mechanism and it is possible that
besides the cases of frank unresolved pneumonia there are many
patients whose recuperative powers are adversely influenced.

A number of reports on fungus diseases following Antibiotic

treatment, especially with broad-spectrum antibiotics were lately
published (Scelchow Nikoluski, Hosenann). Special interest has
been roused by fungus infection due to Morilia Allsicans. This
normal harmless fungus may, during treatment with antibiotics
spread in the whole body and systemic fungus disease may end fatally.

"Neurologic disturbances have been described in prolonged

treatment with streptomycin and dihydrostreptomycin such as are
often necessary in tuberculosis. Streptomycin may cause distur-
bances of equilibrium while dihydrostreptomycin may cause auditory
disturbances." (Thampan and Bergschmidt.)

The British Medical Journal in 1952 warned that the use of the
wonder drug streptomycin may have to be abandoned because it is
too dangerous. The Journal said the drug can have serious poisonous
effects on the 'eighth nerve' causing giddiness and deafness and may
even upset a patient's sense of balance permanently. The drug is
6

used frequently to combat tuberculosis but in the majority of cases.

patients become resistant to the drug and remain so indefinitely." It
is true, today.

Rarely does it occur to the prescriber that the 'complication' is

but the symptomatic reflection of the drug or drugs he has previously
given. I say, rarely, for sometimes he does seem to have faint glimpses
of such a truth, as when tetanus, trismus or acute Bright's disease
speedily follow vaccination, or when haemorrhage in lungs, kidneys
or retina quickly supervenes upon the administration of massive
doses of Quinine or when he happens to recognise one of the "puzzling
eruptions" said to be caused by one or more drugs.

"Hepatic disorders due to chlorpromazine (Thorazine) are

reported at the rate of 1 to 50 cases to 3 in 71. Viscosity of bile is
increased: an obstructive type of jaundice develops as biliary canaliculi
are plugged. Although some patients die, most recover on cessation
of therapy. Similar changes may be brought about by therapy with
theouracel, methimazole, arsphenamine and methyltestasterene."

"Toxic Hepatitis with inflammatory infiltration and liver cell

damages is caused by many drugs, including Phenylbutazone and
phenacerylurea (Phenurone). O, D. Quarterly reports that sulfa-
pyridine is causing stone in the kidney and urinary tract. The
Science News Letter reports that Dr. Mekenzie of Johns, Hopkins has
discovered that the Sulpha drugs are causing enlargement of the
Thyroid."

"Peptic ulcer is common during treatment with ACTH and

cortisone. Even in healthy individuals, ACTH raises the concen-
tration of Hydrochloric acid and pepsin in the gastric juice and
reduces the viscosity and amount of mucus."

"Peptic ulcer and migration of prostatic cancer to the breast

are known side effects of therapeutic hormones. Metastasis to the
breast may occur when oestrogen is given for prostatic carcinoma.
The hormone causes gynaecomastia by increasing vascularity and
growth of loose textured fibrous tissue."
7

"Perforation and haemorrhage from peptic ulcer is common

after "Rauwolfia Serpentina" according to Dr. W. O. West, from
the Department of Internal Medicine, Charleston Memorial
Hospital, Charleston. Further he said, "Peptic ulcer occurrence,
recurrence and complications associated with the administration of
Rauwolfia Serpentina probably contribute another to the
evergrowing list of 'diseases of Medical progress."

Take the case of cortisone. Dr. L. C. Cope, Physician at the

Post-Graduate Medical School of London has said "Cortisone and
Corticotrophin do not cure, they merely suppress some
manifestation of disease." And suppression in medicine, its awful
consequences to mankind and the law of the inverse order by
which suppression may be turned back, are as strange to the world
Health Organisation as they are to the Medical Colleges
themselves. To understand suppression and its opposite cure, the
physician must reach beyond his M. D. or F. R. C. S.

"Fungus infections, Staphylococcic enteritis or vitamin

deficiency may occur if the natural balance of gastro-intestinal
organisms is upset by antibacterial agents/'

"Antihypertensive agents have various undesirable effects,

'Hexamenthorium' in long courses may bring an acute interstitial
pulmonary fibrosis and progressive dyspnoea that is fatal in thirty
days."

Disturbances are initiated by hydralazine hydrochloride (A pre

so line) in as many-as 10 per cent of persons who receive an
average of 640 mg. daily for one year. Symptoms of rheumatoid
arthritis, lupus erythematosus, serum sickness or collagen disease
may develop. Chills, migratory joint pains and myalgia occur,
sedimentation rate ascends and haemoglobin falls. Arthritis
follows and with continued administration, fever, prostration,
effusions in body cavities, rash, splenomegally and
lymphadenopathy"—
— (Modern Medicine-Man-made disease.)

So, we can readily see that the use of the marvels of modern
medicine is not without considerable danger and risk to the
patient.
8

People are anxious to have these drugs used in their treatment after
reading the glowing publicity that is given to these preparations.
However this publicity does not warn of the dangers that may be
encountered.
It has been said, and it is logical to believe, that the person
whose blood stream is clean and chemically adequate never
develops cancer. And it naturally follows that 'preventive medicine'
vaccinations and inoculations, pollute the blood stream and apart
from the immediate danger of serum sickness and infection
through materials carrying living germs accidental or otherwise has
much to do in the development of the degenerative diseases. The
increasing cancer death rate discredits the surgery, X-ray, Radium
of orthodox medicine, and the 'research' of the cancer societies.
Modern medicine during recent years has certainly made radical
changes in many diseases and infections, even causing new
diseases, thus making the practice of medicine more complicated.
My theories, views and experiments are now 'confirmed facts'
though these were observed clinically long before any experiments
were known to me as now experiments are done in the laboratory
of Professor Lapp in Strasbourg, by Dr. Lise Warmser, Mr. J. Ney
and Madame Krautele. Their findings are:
(1)Knowing the therapeutic accidents caused by the administering
of even small doses of certain toxic metals to patients who have
previously undergone a more or less intensive treatment by the
same substance, we ask ourselves whether it might not be possible
to give evidence of the liberation of these toxic substances in the
system under the action of an infinitesimal dose of the same toxic
substance.
(2)That an infinitesimal. dilution of a substance is capable of
causing the elimination of the same substance which was hitherto
fixed in the system.
(3)The induced elimination of the poison under the action of the
infinitesimal dose permits comprehension of the action of specific
treatments by the allergens used in therapy.
(4)They (Experiments) justify by their results the isotherapeutic
technique using the infinitesimal dose.
9

They have come to the above conclusions after conducting

several experiments.

It is true that if the use of crude drugs could be entirely done

away with, the sum of human ills would be greatly reduced, or as
wise and witty Dr. Oliver Wendell once said "If all the drugs in the
world could be dumped into the sea, it would be better for mankind
and the worse for the fishes."

The 'modern medicine' is racing only for specifics for diseases

and here is the mistake they are doing. They must learn the 'natural
ways' to combat diseases of mankind. To the philosophic mind the
idea of a specific for disease is untenable, because the symptoms of
disease are ever changing and always vary with the individual. There
are specifics for sick individuals but none for diseases. The idea for
specifics seems so plausible, however and. the end sought is so desirable
that the quest goes endlessly on. Hardly a month passes that the
discovery of some new bacillus or some new "Anti" serum is not
announced to a waiting world.

"Humanity in struggling to emancipate itself from bondage to

drugs, and to attain a higher plane of life and thought as is common,
has gone from one extreme to the other. Psychology and psychiatry
are the popular studies of the day. Now, as never before, are natures
finer forces being studied. Men are questioning the infinite and
unseen. Many are calling men to return to a more natural, a more
spiritual and. more simple mode of life-to eschew drugs, stimulants
and narcotics."

Humanity is drugged and poisoned from the cradle to the grave-

Organized medicine is responsible for the present miseries of
mankind.

Increasing mortality from cancer since 1900 is shown clearly

in the statistical tables of the World Health Organisation which
were published in 1955, and they consider it remarkable. Remarkable
it must seem to everyone as cancer is accounted No. 1 Killer, now.
The cause is behind the scene. The more one gets vaccinated, the
more is its efficacy diminished, for the less are the antibodies grown
10

and the less is the defense mechanism worked up. What is more,
the vaccine lymph as a pathological foreign protein besides causing
dangerous encephalitis sensitizes the organism with each repetition
or operation and works as an allergen that brings in its turn various
constitutional disorders, malformations and malignancies. Who can
say how far responsible are vaccination and revaccination for
Hypertension, coronary-disease and cancer—the three scourges of
Modern Society? I have frequently seen in these diseases—Hyper-
tension, heart-disease and cancer,—the relation with vaccinations
in my private practice.

Let us see what Pageant writes in the January 195! issue in

"Miracle Drugs, Million-Dollar Nonsense." "What Cortisone and
ACTH do-and this is real medical news-is to permit the intimate
study of Arthritis. Like the microscope the hormones are tools of
science, so important that U. S. public Health Service has this
spring awarded $ 901445 for their study . But they are not cures.
This is true of B. C. G., a vaccine widely acclaimed in recent
months as a preventive of tuberculosis. Though there have been
reports of success, there has been no proof. The vaccine itself is
highly unstable: no method for standardizing its manufacture is
known, nor is there any dependable technique for selecting people
to be vaccinated. Months and years of Laboratory Study are needed
before the work of this miracle-drug can be established." [If this is
true, are not our masses being used as Human guinea pigs? 1 know
some cases where after taking B. C. G., they have suffered from
pneumonia, Asthma and symptoms of T. B. without any
pathological changes in lungs.) "It is too early to assess the results,
but there is one great objection to the method, that is, the
possibility that the organism itself may be capable of regaining
virulence in the human body"—(opinion of Dr. F. W. Price-from
the Text Book of Practice of Medicine). With the above cases I can
only predict that one day our children will be a generation of
tuberculosis and Cancer. This I write on the basis of mass small-
pox vaccination and re-vaccination by Government authorities with
a result that now it takes more deaths according to the report of
small-pox in West Bengal, (The Journal of the Indian Medical
Association 1959.)
And here is a proof with a remarkable statement by Dr. A.
Vogt. He said after collecting particulars of 4,00,000 cases of
small-pox.
11

"I am compelled to admit that my belief in vaccination is absolutely

destroyed," "I have seen hundreds of children killed by
vaccination" (Dr. Hitchmaron, Report of Royal Commission.)
Again take example of Von Behring the discoverer of Diphtheric
Antitoxin who says, "You may call me a Homoeopath, if you will,
but I say to you the efficiency of Anti-Toxin increases with the
attenuation." But only if attenuated according to Homoeopathy.

"Medicine is far from having decreased human sufferings as

much as it endeavours to make us believe. Indeed, the number of
deaths from infectious diseases has greatly diminished. But we still
must die and we die in a much larger proportion from degenerative
diseases. The years of life which we have gained by the
suppression of diphtheria, small pox, typhoid fever etc. are paid
for by the long sufferings and the lingering deaths caused by
chronic affections and
especially by cancer, diabetes and heart disease …..Although
modern hygiene has made human existence far safer, longer and
more pleasant, diseases have not been mastered. They have simply
changed in nature" writes Dr. Alexis Carrel, the famous scientist in
"Man, the Unknown."

Dr. Benehtrit holds the opinion that "Vaccines and sera are
principally responsible for the increase of those two really
dangerous
diseases, cancer and heart disease ........ I have been for a long time
a serologist and I know what I am talking about." "Belief in serum
therapy rests on a foundation of sand." (Sir Almorth Wright.)

"Orthodox Medical treatment with its drugging and surgical

operations not only cannot cure disease but succeeds merely in
turning simple diseases into far more serious ones." (Dr.
Benjamin.)

"Vogues in treatment come and go, introduced without experi-

mental justification and accepted without the application of any
crucial test, without comparisons between a treated and untreated
series; without enquiries into mode of action or even a display of
curiosity as to whether the remedy includes an active principle at
all. Sometimes even harmful treatments flourish for a time. The
others exhibit a warning curve of popularity and early exalted
claims suffer a gradual extinction with little attendant commentary
or reflection
12

on the time and money wasted and the disappointed hopes. In the
last quarter of a century we have witnessed, therapeutic vaccine
craze, based not on experiment and the vast experience of War-
time, but on haphazard speculation and ill-considered enterprise.
Organisms isolated from the throat, dental sockets, stools and
elsewhere and hailed as the cause of the rheumatism, the Catarrh,
Colitis, (and sometimes of the undiagnosed anaemia, Cancer,
tuberculosis or gout) have been injected in various combinations in
their millions of millions—the prescription being at last
discontinued when it failed or the patient after months or years, got
better in spite of it. The polypharmacy of the Middle ages was no
more absurd. "Endocrines," "Rays" exploitation of surgical
procedure, injections of chemical substances vaunted to cure
influenza and pneumonia, intravenous chemotherapy for
septicaemia, have all been allowed to have their day. In each case it
has been the same story. The treatment has been launched with no
adequate preliminary experiment, without clinical trials, and
employed without criticism and often, alas, without an adequate
diagnosis and to the exclusion of a rational conservative therapy,
which although not miraculous in its effects, at least has the virtue
of encouraging or not delaying natural recovery." writes Dr. John
A. Ryle, Regius Professor in the University of Cambridge and
Consulting Physician to Guy's Hospital, in The British Medical
Journal.

Such people are rare who admit their mistakes and endorse
directly or indirectly the principles of another system of treatment
for
their discoveries. It is a fact without doubt that sins of parents are
passed on to their children directly or indirectly! Modern
medicine is trying to poison the youngsters from cradle to grave
and the facts about this were reported in the Journal of Obstetrics
and Gynaecology of British Empire by Dr. N. Sapeike. "Bromides
are well known as a possible cause of a skin eruption in infants and
the amount excreted in the milk."
"It is well known that belladonna or its alkaloid atropine markedly
diminish the milk flow and the drug transmitted through the milk
may affect the child." "Both Sulphanilamide and Sulphatiazole
have been demonstrated in the milk of nursing mothers and traces
of the drugs have been found in the blood and urine of the infant."
13

"Small amounts of penicillin have been found in the milk following

the intramuscular injection of 1.OQ000 units." "Salicylic Acid has been
detected in the milk after 10 grains of Sodium Salicylate." "Signs
of intoxication have been recorded in infants while mother has been
receiving Ergot alkaloids." "Caffeine has been found in the milk
following the drinking of both tea and coffee" etc.

Humanity today is drug ridden as never before in history, "ft is my

personal opinion that vaccinations enforced on the public for the
last two or three generations are responsible for the enormous
increase in Allergic conditions in children and adults—a costly and
painful price to pay for the protection against Small-pox, whooping
cough, typhoid fever, typhus and many other diseases." (Dr. Roger
Schmidt-U. S. A.) The "side-effects" produced by these drugs are
nothing but an euphimistic phrase for drug-diseases or iatrogenic
diseases. And any conscientious observing physician is painfully
aware as to how obstinately harmful and almost incurable these
Iatrogenic diseases, arc, especially when deep-rooted by prolonged
use of the highly potent modern drugs.

Laboratory products may be 'Scientific' but unless they arc

scientifically used, they are a source of danger.

There are many, even in the Homoeopathic School, who do

not realise these facts and who find that the problem before them is
as after one of antidoting a drug or of curing a true natural disease.
This has a very practical bearing on the case, for, the first step in
such cases is to seek out and stop the use of drugs and antidote
them rather than to proceed blindly to give more drugs.
"The last taken drug affords the best medication for the next
prescription." (Dr. Hering.) And mind well Nux vomica at present
cannot afford, to antidote the present powerful chemical 'wonder
drugs." If you prescribe to every patient who comes from allopathic
brothers, Nux. vomica 6, 30 or 200, you are wasting your time in
90% of cases. Nux. vomica, no doubt, will help but only in certain
cases where old time prescriptions are given by old time physicians
who still do not believe in prescribing 'wonder drugs' of today or in
patients who by chance never had wonder drugs or crude drugs of
"Habit forming," from a modern M. D. or M. R. C. P.
14

If a Homoeopathic Physician prescribes on totality of symptoms

without considering the symptoms or bad effects of drug diseases
of previous medication, he is going to fail, no doubt. Even if he
discriminates symptoms of drug diseases and natural diseases he can-
not find true antidote at once of the bad effects and so his patients
and himself worry as Homoeopathic medicines are not helping them
and him. Here comes to their aid Tautopathic drugs and the way is
shown for better and more effective Homoeopathic prescribing.

I have seen several cases where I have been worrying, when

Tautopathic drugs helped me to overcome my worries. But to do
such miracles you have to find out from your patients and from
previous physicians what medicines were given mostly from 'wonder
drugs' of present day. If you find medicine, which usually you can,
it becomes very easy to prescribe Tautopathic drug. You have to give
the same medicine in potentised form (which, only, we have prepared)
mostly 6 or 30 and have to wait for four days or a week and you shall
be amazed to see how it clears up the case. Sometimes I have noted
that there is no need of prescribing any other Homoeopathic drug as
in such cases patients recover completely if he is under the influence
of that 'wonder drug.'

And sometimes, if you find that you cannot wait for a week or
four days after giving Tautopathic drug, you can prescribe Tauto-
pathic drug in 30,200 or higher (which at present I have not prepared
and tried) and the Homoeopathic drug which is indicated in low
potency, say 3 or 6 as an alternating or intercurrent medicine. I
have given this in some cases and have noted also some improvement.

Every medicine or drug has a plane of action and the same with
different potencies of the drug. Different potencies have their own
planes of action. Take it as higher or lower. Again, diseases have
their higher and lower planes. So if you give higher potency it will
act on a different higher plane leaving the low plane of action. And
daring the same time if you give a low potency of different medicine
it will act on lower plane without disturbing the action of higher
plane. This is usual practice while giving constitutional treatment
in Homoeopathy where a constitutional medicine is given in high
potency which acts for months and low potency any time, or any
15

indicated drag during acute troubles. But in prescribing in this way

you must give time to higher potency, usually 24 or 48 hours and then
you can give low potency if need arises. Even you can repeat them
(low potencies) often without disturbing the action of higher plane
medicine or potency.

At present we have to follow with open mind the trend of

'Modern Scientific Medicine' and have to kill giants of drug-diseases with
their own weapons. And Tautopathy is the possible way to show them
what wrong they are doing plus how Homoeopathy can overcome present
day obstacles, by adopting her sister Tautopathy.

Frequently chronic diseases of liver, kidneys, spleen, lungs,

joints, will be traced back to an initial attack of malarial fever or typhoid
checked by massive dose of quinine or arsenic or 'wonder drugs.' The
patient has 'never been well since,' the seemingly indicated remedies
do not act, a few doses of the appropriate antidote either of Arsenic or
China or wonder drug, the abused drugs themselves in high potency-
and it is a fact that the high potency of the drug is sometimes the best
antidote for the effects of the crude drug, will clear up the cases and either
cure it or render it amenable to other symptomatically indicated drugs
and lead us to the object of cure on easily comprehensive principles. It is
not so with modern medicine. There "the object of cure (diseases) was
manufactured to order by pathology. It was arbitrarily settled what
diseases, how many, and what forms, and kinds there should be. Just
think, the whole range of diseases produced in innumerable and always
unforeseeable variety by infinite Nature in human beings exposed to
thousands of different conditions, the pathologist cuts down so ruthlessly
that a mere handful of cut and dry forms is the result." And that is the
result why our allopathic brothers forget the bad effects, or drug
diseases created are regarded by them as progress of diseases or
fresh diseases of quite different kinds, while treating diseases with
'wonder drugs' of today. They have no other "wonder drug" to
combat bad effects or drug diseases and so they are forced to name them
as deficiency diseases of this or that Vitamin or Hormone or at last a
bang with 'Allergy' word and they free themselves leaving patients
with new diseases which may come out as Asthma, Apoplexy, epilepsy,
Arthritis etc. and lastly a danger word 'Cancer' for which they cannot
16

find a cure. Here, Tautopathy helps our brothers of Modern

Medicine to (disprove their imaginations and help them to fight bad
effects or drug diseases in a scientific way.

The birth of the method in my hand was an accident which has

shaken my mental economy to gain more truth. Once a Lady, aged
45 years, asked me to visit her for consultation. She was a victim of
Typhoid and a victim of 'wonder drug*! She was under treatment
of the best allopathic physician of the town. According to diagnosis,
he prescribed Chloromycitin capsules. In all 32 capsules were given
within a week. Temperature was down from 104 to 100 degrees and
sometimes 99.4 degrees but never normal. Again she was asked to
continue 12 capsules for 6 days. But after taking 34th capsule she
started stomatitis—with burning in the mouth. Burning in the
throat. Sensation of feeling heat and swelling in the mouth with
thirst; Vertigo while getting up from bed. Headache, all over the
head, dull type etc. Movements aggravated her troubles. Itching
here and there on the body. Burning in the eyes, mostly in the
evening. Less hearing, right ear, without pathological evidence.
General weakness. In spite of these troubles she continued the treat-
ment and she was becoming worse and worse day by day and at last
she asked for a visit from a Homoeopathic Physician.

When I saw her she had all complaints previously explained

plus Anorexia. She cannot take food at all. Slightest motion or
movements were making her worse. Thirst for cold drinks, often,
as she said that she gets dryness of the throat. Saliva was coming
out while speaking. Has to spit often. Cracks around the corners of
the mouth. Gingivitis with white patches here and there.
Tongue red and moist. Slow wiry pulse. Anaemic face. Burning
of the feet at night etc., (B. Complex deficiency due to chloromycitin
was diagnosed which I confirmed from literatures of Glaxo Company,
and was given by allopathic physician without relief)- With all the
symptoms I started with Bryonia 30, 8 hourly for four days without
any good result, except temperature which came down and continued
as normal. Then it came into my mind why not Chloromycitin in
potetised form, as most of her symptoms are its bad effects, due to
over dosing. To antidote them Bryonia was not the remedy, but I
changed to the most talked antidote in Homoeopathy, Nux Vomica(30)
17

and was given as I was preparing Chloromycitin in potentised form, without

any good result. After two days I switched on to chloro-mycitin 6, three
times 6 hourly in two grains dose for two days and O! She was feeling
better on 3rd day and one dose on 4th day (It is my new method of
repetition of Homoeopathic remedies which 1 have tried on hundreds of
patients with excellent results). Most of the symptoms were rooted out
within 5 days and the remaining-burn-ing in the stomach and feet were
controlled by Rhus Tox 30, one dose, after 15 days. Surely R.. T. .If you
doubt, R. Tox was not indicated first.

This incident led me to potentise most of the "Wonder drugs" of

today. 1 have tried wherever 1 found place for them with good results and
hence Tautopathy comes into existence after the hard work and worries.

The following are the Tautopathic drugs, at present, prepared by me,

according to strict Hahnemannian Method and others.shall be available
later on as need arises. The following are widely used drugs in market and
hence I have taken only 'Trade' mark.

The Bad effects of the above medicines are generally different

in different individuals according to their physical constitution, so
it is difficult to collect all symptoms-bad or side effects of each drug.
The only guide at present is the previous use of the medicines by
patients and after taking medicines how patient reacted. Most of
the bad or side effects of each drug are given in practical part.

These drugs are only prepared by me according to trituration

and succussion methods and are hand made because with trituration
and succussion (Hand made and not Machine made) more energy
is released, (this fact will be cleared up in future with the aid of clinical
and machine findings.)

Lastly, I wish all who are concerned with the health and better
ment of Humanity to try Tautopathy. It's future depends on trial
by Homoeopaths and brother Allopaths for its true progress. I
pray to God, as usual, to lead me where I can find more truth.

The whole truth regarding life, diseases and cure of sickness is

not the monopoly of any single system of medicine however widespread
it is.
CHAPTER 2

PREPARATIONS OF MEDICINES

Methods:—
1. Decimal Scale
2. Centesimal Scale
For standardisation of the preparation, the following points are to be
considered.
1. Quantity
2. Quality
3. How much vehicle
4. How many revolutions or succussions
5. How much time

Process of preparing Medicines:

TRITURATION:
Trituration is another method discovered by Hahnemann, which
is able (1) to increase the healing power of a drug, (2) to awaken the
healing power of substances which were supposed to be neutral and
inactive, (3) to make insoluble substances soluble in vehicle like
alcohol and water. Here the substance is rubbed for a long time
systematically, with a non-medicinal material like pure sugar of milk,
so that its inner, concealed, and in the crude state latent and so to
speak, slumbering dynamical medicinal power can be awakened and
brought to life. Usually dry medicinal substances which are not
soluble in alcohol are selected for trituration. But sometimes liquid
substances like petroleum or other oils, vegetable and animal sub-
stances like Apis. Anthracinum etc., are also triturated.

The process should be carried on in a warm and dry atmosphere

and the apparatus to be used should be perfectly clean. The mortar
and pestle should be washed nicely with water, wiped dry and a little
alcohol should be burnt inside.
24

THE ACTUAL PROCESS

Appliances:—Mortar, Pestle and spatula. The vessels should
be of Porcelain variety and of the same size. The bottom of glazed
porcelain mortars are made rough by rubbing with moist line sand.

Drug:—Hard and lumpy substances should be powdered and

passed through a suitable seive (No. 6 seive where the width between
meshes is 0.15 m. m.) For powdering the method allready described
(powdering with mortar and pestle) can be followed.

Vehicle:—Milk sugar which is the common vehicle should be" of

the purest quality, purified especially for the homoeopathic usage.
The quantity taken should be nine parts to that of the drug substance
in the decimal scale and ninety-nine parts in the centesimal scale.

Procedure:—One third (3 or 33 parts) of the required amount of |

milk sugar is taken in the mortar and rubbed a while so that the pores
are closed. Now the medicine is put and mixed thoroughly with the
spatula, the time taken for the whole procedure not exceeding a
minute.
The mixture is triturated with some force for six minutes. The
force exerted should be such that the sugar of milk is not pressed too
firmly to the mortar but may be scraped up within three or four
minutes. The rotation should be done only in one direction.
Anticlock-wise may be the convenient direction. Circular move-
ment should be steady, hard and grinding in nature.

The triturated substance is then scraped from the mortar and

the pestle with the spatula for 3 minutes, and mixed thoroughly for
a minute. The powder is again triturated for 6 minutes as before,
scraped for 3 minutes and mixed for one minute. Thus the first part
of the trituration is completed in 20 minutes.

The second one-third of the sugar of milk is then added to the

already triturated mass, and the trituration is repeated exactly as
before, two times: 6 minutes trituration, 3 minutes scraping and one
minute mixing . The total time taken for the process done being 20
minutes.
25

The last one-third of milk sugar is added and the whole process
is repeated within the next 20 minutes. Thus within a total period
of one hour the first trituration is ready. The medicine is now kept
in suitable bottles, with tightly fitting corks and the name, number
and scale of potency are marked clearly on the bottles.
To prepare the next trituration, any suitable quantity of previous
trituration is taken in a new mortar (or in the same mortar after
cleaning thoroughly as already directed) and 9 parts or 99 parts of
sugar of milk is added according to the two scales and trituration is
carried out exactly as before, for one complete hour.

SUCCESSION:
Procedure: a suitable . strong, round, perfectly clean and new
bottle of neutral glass is selected, so that after taking the whole mixture
at least ith of the via I remains vacant. A tight fitting new cork
is also taken and the name of the medicine as well as the number and
scale of potency (IX, 2X, 3X or 1, 2 or 3) are marked. The mother
tincture is now poured into the bottle, calculating the quantity accu
rately according to the drug power. The vehicle (distilled water,
dilute alcohol or official alcohol) is added, according to the decimal
or centesimal scale i. e., making the total volume ten times or hundred
times accurately, keeping in view the different drug powers of the
mother tinctures.
The vial is corked tightly and grasped in the right hand, with a
finger namely thumb on the cork and 10 strokes are given. The
strokes should be done by raising the hand above the shoulder, and
powerfully striking downwards, letting each stroke terminate in
a jerk, by striking the closed right hand against the open palm of
the left hand. The process is repeated ten times. The potency is
now ready.
The next potency can be prepared by taking one part of the
first potency and 9 or 99 parts of the vehicle (according to decimal
and centesimal scale) in a fresh vial and repeating the same process
of shaking. The succeeding potencies are prepared in the same
manner, taking fresh vials, one part of the preceding potency and the
required amount of vehicle.

EMETINE HYDROCHLORIDE
A SHORT CLINICAL STUDY

A. Introduction:
Emetine is the principal Alkaloid of Ipecachuana. The roots of
Ipecac contain Emetine, Cephaline, Kryptonine, Psychotrin along
with O-Methy: Psychotrin and Emetine. Emetine is a powerful
amoebicide, but is not a bactericide. It is mentioned that it is specific
for amoebiasis and has remarkable value in the treatment of amoebic
dysentery. Emetine has been used in an endemic dysentery, but for all
purpose it was used hypodermically. In modern medicine Emetine
Hyd. is administered by deep subcutaneous injections: and is not
given orally because vomiting is produced. It absorbs very slowly
from the site of injection thus cumulative toxicity is always present
which might produce dangerous side effects. It produces its toxic-
effects e.g. nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea, weakness of the muscles,
aching, and tenderness of the muscles. It produces also the hypo-
tension, precordial pain, tachycardia and dyspnoea and so it has been
warned in "Modern Medicine" that if tachycardia develops, the
emetine course should be discontinued. In one of my cases, it has
produced diabetes.

B. Homoeopathic Preparation:
It is prepared in Decimal scale, Centesimal scale and lastly in 50 millesimal
scale. My study is based on Centesimal scale and 50 millesimal scale potencies: I
have tried 6, 30 and 0/3.

C. Clinical Symptoms:
I. Despair, dejected apprehensive, irritable.
2. Diarrhoea, with sticky or slimy mucous.
3. Burning, rawness or itching of anus after stool.
4. Mild colicky pain aggravated in early morning with desire to
pass motion, which relieves the pain.
5. Loosing weight in spite of eating well.
6. Aggravation, early morning, eggs, meat, especially beef.
70

Clinically it is indicated in the following conditions with good

results if above symptoms are present.
(a) Mucous colitis.
(b) Ulcerative colitis.
(c) Amoebic colon.
(d) Liver abscess (AMOEBIC)
(e) Amoebic Hepatitis.

D. Indications for use:

1. History of dysentery.
2. Previous use of Emetine injections in crude form.
3. Mucous stools-very sticky.
4. Entamoeba Hystolitica and the cyst in the stool.

E. Tautopathic use:
As per tautopathy it can be used whenever there are side effects
which are more predominant in a patient who had remote or recent
injections of Emetine. In such cases potentised Emetine Hydro-
chloride can be given in the beginning of a treatment to ward off side
effects. In this way I have used in number of patients with excellent
results. In the majority of cases I have used centesimal 6 or 30
potency, singly or in repeated doses.

F. Potencies:
In my clinical study I have used centesimal potencies in 6 and
30 and in 50 Millesimal 0/3. I have found that 6 and 30 are good for
removing the side effects of drugs, while 0/3 is useful when clinical
symptoms are present and there are no side effects of the drug. 50
Millesimal potencies I have repeated frequently i. e. 2 times a day or
even 3 times per day. In some cases I have found that cysts and
Entamoeba Hystolitica have disappeared from the stool and the
patient improves a great deal. Frequency of stools and mucous
become less and less

Case No. 4

Drug: Ephedrine

Mr. M. Aged 64 yrs.

A patient of mine was under treatment for prostatic complaints and
he was feeling better for the last 6 months. He developed cold attack
followed by incessant cough with fever. It continued for A—5 days
without the aid of medicines as he was 45 miles away from
Kottayam. As the cough was troubling him he approached a nearby
Allopathic Doctor who prescribed Zephrol, which contains
Ephedrine for his cough. After taking 2—3 doses his cough was
better, but he found difficulty to pass urine. Even after 6 hours he
could not pass urine at all. The patient approached the Doctor and
he was catheterized twice not knowing that this was due to the drug
taken. However, the patient could not pass urine voluntarily and he
wanted to avoid catheterization. He was rushed to me for help. After
going through the history and the contents of the medicine, Zephrol,
I suspected that it was the effect'of Ephedrine content of the drug,
which has its side effects—urinary complaints with retention of
urine and prescribed Ephedrine 6/12 doses 3 hours apart. After the
3rd dose he started passing urine without the aid of the catheter. He
was advised to continue the rest of the doses with the effect that he
never had to resort to the catheter again.

Comments:- This proves that immediate after-effects can be met

immediately by Tautopathic drugs which all practitioners must have
at hand for emergency cases to save the immediate situation in a
critical condition of the patient. The patient never had afterwards
such a complaint—retention— inspite of his enlargement of
prostrate —for the last 8 months.

Drug: Tetracycline

Mr. F. Aged 68. A famous writer. Was under my treatment for his
so called rheumatic complaints and gastric complaints. One day
suddenly he had gastric upset and diarrhoea followed. Became
weak and fainted. He was rushed to a Mission Hospital, where
saline and glucose were given together with antibiotics. Diarrhoea
stopped but had severe reaction on the body. Whole body was
swollen up and became pinkish red. All possible anti-allergic treat-
ments were given but without relief. Was brought home and 1 was
called in. When I saw him it was a surprise to me to see him dis-
figured. He told me the story. I laughed. He asked me to do
something as he cannot tolerate itching and can't sleep day and
night. I told him that I must have the names of the me. Tines which
were given to him. His cousin phoned to the Doctor who treated
him but the Doctor would not tell the names of the medicines.
However, the other cousin who had a medical shop and who
supplied the medicine came out with all prescriptions and he told
me that this medicine (Reverin I. V.) created all the troubles.
Before that I gave Rhus Tox 0/3/6 which gave but temporary relief.
As soon as I came to know that it was Tetracycline I gave two doses
of Tetracycline 30 prepared by me at the interval of 12 hours and
after two days swelling started subsiding and peeling of the skin
started. Itching was 90 % relieved and had comfortable sleep
afterwards and within 10 days, skin peeled off from all over the
body and the whole allergic reaction completely disappeared. The
Doctor being a friend of the patient made three visits during this
process and he was amazed to see the result of Tautopathy, the
sister of Homoeopathy. He was satisfied. What else do 1 want?

Case No: 8

Drug: Nicotine
SMOKING & NICOTINE
F. C. E. Schneider M. D., (U. S. A.)
Why do people smoke? Is it a habit or is it a pleasure or do
they smoke because others are doing it and they want to fit in with
the crowd? People give various reasons for smoking. To some it
gives a feeling of relaxation and contentment. Others say it stimu-
lates them menially, it is noticeable that a cigarette smoker, before
beginning a conversation, invariably has to light a cigarette to put
himself at ease. One is reminded of the morphine addict who has to
have his shot before he is capable of carrying out his intentions.
The active properties of tobacco, whether used for chewing or
smoking, are due chiefly to Nicotine. Nicotine is a toxin and toxins
are injurious to the health of the body. Some people have more
natural resistance than others to various toxins the body picks up.
A person allergic to Nicotine can get Nicotine poisoning simply by
inhaling the smoke from someone else. 1 wish to give you an idea
of the effect smoking had on a patient of mine over a period of
years.

This person, Mr. H. O. now 65 years old, had been treated a

number of times for Nicotine poisoning prior to 1932, and each
time intended to stop smoking but could not give it up very long at
a time. In May 1932 he came to me and wanted his piles cut out. I
told him we would see what was causing the piles. I noticed that
Nicotine was affecting his parasympathetic nerves. 1 asked him to
stop smoking and put him on Nicotine 200, a dose four times daily.
Later he was given Lobelia 3x, four doses daily, until all symptoms
disappeared. In less than three months his piles were gone, no other
treatment being given, not even local applications. He soon began
smoking again and about six months later returned to my office
with the same request—to have his piles cut out—and I said, "Let
us see what caused the piles to reappear." Again he was told to stop
smoking and was put on the above remedies and in three month's
time the piles disappeared. After an interval, he again began
smoking
100

with consequent return of his piles, which once more disappeared

Under the same treatment, minus the smoking.
Later on 1 noticed he was smoking again, but this time he did
not return to me for treatment but went to some other doctor who, I
am told, removed his piles. He continued to smoke and finally it
affected his sight, causing double vision. The Optometrist who
previously had fitted him with glasses, told him he could not give
him any stronger glasses and suggested that he consult a physician.
Right back to me he came. Examination again showed Nicotine to
be the troublemaker, and he made another promise to stop smoking.
With the same treatment for several months, his double vision dis-
appeared.
For some unaccountable reason the craving for smoking was
so strong that he lacked the will power to refrain from it. Nicotine
was his boss. After a lapse of time, he again appeared at my office
almost unable to walk. His Upper thighs and testicles were raw and
sore. He was wearing suspensories and said he had to get a new one
frequently, for the oozing kept it soaked and irritated the skin around
it. Again Nicotine was the mischief maker and, as before, when
Nicotine was removed out of the system, the trouble disappeared
and the surrounding areas were healed- I told the patient it seemed
he could never learn, for with all his good intentions he would resist
tile urge to smoke only for a limited time.

Some time later he came back saying, "I came back early before
it got sore." He noticed the testicles and thighs were beginning to
cause trouble. So again he had to stop smoking and i had to remove
the Nicotine using the same remedies, to allow the tissues to return
to normalcy. It is about one year since the last spell, and so far he
has refrained from smoking, but for how long only time will tell.
Perhaps he has learned that it is better to make new mistakes than to
make the old ones over and over again.

If the patient smokes just a puff or two during the treatment,

the effect of the remedy is destroyed at once. It is necessary, there-
fore, to have his promise to follow instructions to the letter. It is
strictly up to the .individual to decide which is more important to
him—his health or the so-called pleasure of smoking.

Case No. 9

Name of the Patient: Mrs. Makim. age: 59.

This patient is very sensitive to drugs, but inspite of that, when

she developed fever, on 27lh August, 1974, she was first given
METACIN which brought down the fever temporarily, but she
developed cough and cold, for which the doctors prescribed
TERRA-MYCIN 3 capsules only, to see the effect of medicine.
After a couple of days, she developed a pink rash like velvet all
over her skin. To antidote the effects of Terramycin, they gave
some injections, medicines etc. In the past too, she had taken some
drugs for her diabetes and had developed similar skin disease with
enlargement of the glands for which STREPTOMYCIN was given,
which gave rise to choking sensation. Being an extremely well-to-
do patient, I was shown a big file of various reports not only from
India, but from U. K. too.

This disease was diagnosed by a skin specialist as 'SOLAR

DERMATITIS'. All sorts of applications and medicines were
given, but the rash persisted.

As there was so much talk about doctors and their different

diagnosis, 1 could hardly get time to get personal symptoms from
her. She immediately wanted some remedy to relieve her itching
and her pink rash all over her body.

I.8.'74 TERRAMYCIN in 30th potency was repeated 3 times a

day. After about a week, she developed a little fever but
the rash on the skin and the itching was less. TERRA-
MYCIN 200 a single dose was given, with plentiful
placebo. After about a week, there was further
improvement and most of the red patches had
disappeared leaving skin white and I found that the skin
of the palms and soles were peeling. No more
Terramycin was administered and the patient had a fine
recovery in about 6 weeks.

Case No: 10

Name: Mr. S. Age. 50.

This patient is suffering from Urticaria for the past several years.
He has taken various Allopathic and Homoeopathic medicines
without relief. There was no definite modality except better by cold
applications. He is a hot patient and has suffered in the past from
Eczema. On further questioning I could not get any key symptoms
to prescribe so 1 again questioned once more as to how it started
years back and he told me he had taken Marking Nut which was
given by a Vaid for some ailment which he does not remember.
Anacardium Oriental in the 30th potency was given in repeated
doses. The Urticaria disappeared completely but after a month it
again appeared in milder form. The same remedy in the 200
potency 3 doses has made him completely free from this disease.
(Dr. S. R. Wadia, M. B. B. S., M. F. Horn. Bombay).

ment. Had profuse bleeding for I hour. Was cleaned and dressed
by an allopathic physician. Two hours later Anti-Tetanus injection

night patient felt frequent desire for urination. When he got up at 2
A. M. while passing urine he fainted and was noticed that he had
Oedema with itching all over the body with puffiness of the face.
An Allopathic Doctor was called and he attributed the complaints
due to the reaction of Anti-tetanus injection and said that they have
nothing much to offer except to give a dose of Equibrom for sleep.
In the morning 1 was called to see the patient. The following sym-
ptoms were noticed:—

1. Oedema with hardness in patches, in different parts all over the

5. Mr. M., Aged 27, came for consultation on 6-7-70 with the
following symptoms.
Blister like eruptions started 3 months ago—whilst he was
travelling with a friend on the scooter. Thinking it was a burn due
to the exhaust pipe, he applied Burnol by which externally a scab
was formed, but had a suppuration below the scab. Removed a part
of the surface with a blade and after that suppuration increased, and
inspite of Allopathic medicines and injections there was no relief.
According to the Doctor's suggestion sulphathiazole powder was
applied on the surface and afterwards itching eruptions started all
over the body, over the face and extremities. Took Anti-allergic
tablets which relieved for sometime, but gradually pustular eru-
ptions appeared around mouth and face. He was given Penicillin
injections. But then an ulcer started with suppuration on the leg.
After injection of Penicillin aggravation of all symptoms—had
fissures on the soles, itching of the Rt. ear and pain along the jaw
with oozing from ear. Heaviness of the head with feverishness.
Patient unable to walk due to the eruptions and ulcers with oedema
on the feet.
