Wilmont Pharmacy Drone Project Revision No.: 01

Revision Date: 05 JAN 2020

Project Purpose: To develop prototype drones that will be used for delivering prescription
medicines to customers in San Francesco area.

Project Goal: The goal is to efficiently deliver Wilmont’s product and services to customers by using
prototype drone technology developed by Drone Tech. The Success of the project will result in
further drone technology development for other locations under Wilmont Pharmacy.

Project Scope Description:

• Project Scope –
1. Customize our (DroneTech) systems, interfaces, and business process to
Wilmont’s requirements.
2. Engineer a drone to Wilmont specification with special adaptation for the planned
temperature‐controlled product bagging system along with a bubble‐type cushioning
system for the customer delivery packaging.
3. Handle piloting the drones and delivery of the products.
4. Interface communications about deliveries for Wilmont’s customers electronically
through email, online, and through mobile alerts as the customer requests.

Scope Exclusions:
Billing rates for Wilmont’s personnel involved will not be included.

Requirements:
Charter includes three or more specifications that must be met for Project to be complete.

1. Customizing DroneTech’s systems, interfaces, and business process to


Wilmont’s requirements.
2. Engineering a drone to Wilmont specification with special adaptation for the planned
temperature‐controlled product bagging system along with a bubble‐type cushioning
system for the customer delivery packaging.
3. Handling piloting the drones and delivery of the products.

Primary Deliverables:
Product Deliverables –
1. Customization of DroneTech’s existing interface to Wilmont’s to accommodate order
entry, communication of delivery confirmation
2. Modification of Drone to include a temperature‐controlled product bagging system and a
bubble‐type cushioning system
3. Fly drone for Wilmont during prescriptions and drugstore items delivery.
Deliverable Acceptance Criteria:
Product Deliverables –
1. Meet Wilmont’s requirement to accommodate order entry, communication of delivery
confirmation.
2. Meet requirement of modifying DroneTech’s Drone to include a temperature‐controlled
product bagging system and a bubble‐type cushioning system.

3. Assign and fly drone for Wilmont to project specification

Assumptions and Constarint:


Assumption:
1. All Materials/parts is sourced inhouse – DroneTech & Wilmont.

2. In house budget cap (by Jordan Kempler, CEO - DroneTech) is fixed.

Constraints:
• Contract Negotiation is pending: Agreement on all aspects of the services to be
provided, and/or the cost of the services is not yet reached between Wilmont and Drone
Tech.

Key Milestones:
• Project Start: January 5,2020
• Drone Development: April 10,2020
• Flight Operations Enhancement and Interfaces: May 10,2020
• Stakeholder Project Status Update: June 20, 2020
• Testing and Implementation: September 11, 2020
• Project Close: November 30,2020

Pre-Approved Financial Resources


Project Budget fixed by Jordan Kempler (CEO Drone Tech) is $750,000.

Risks :
1. Ensuring Contract Negotiations including the agreement on all aspects of the services and costs.
2. Ensuring security of Wilmont’s business information.
3. Ensuring customer’s privacy and the proprietary information about how Wilmont’s will use the
drones for delivery.
