Statement of purpose to MSc International Business with

Advanced Practice

As I want to see myself as a successful businessman in future so I need to achieve the requisite
knowledge needed to operate and develop my own business globally and that is only possible
by enrolling in a program like MSc International Business with Advanced Practice. I can learn
about International Marketing Channels, International Business Strategy, and Foundations of
Organization etc. by studying Statement of purpose to MSc International Business with
Advanced Practice. I am confident that I will find what I am looking for in this program.
I am Md Ishtiack Mollick. I completed my Secondary and Higher Secondary Certificate
Examination with GPA 5.00 and 4.90 out of 5.00 scales both in Science group respectively. I also
completed my Bachelor of Science in Textile Technology with specialization in Fabric
Manufacturing Technology from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology and obtained
CGPA 2.521 on a scale of 4.00. Besides, I have already submitted my final Dissertation at IBA
Kolding where I am enrolled in Master of Business Administration in General Management and I
have passed all the written examinations, individual course works and group course works
there. I learned many things about Textile Technology from my Bachelor of Science in Textile
Technology and by completing the internship & doing the first job in the relevant field I learned
some practical things too. Currently I am on the verge of completing my MBA program at IBA
Kolding and I think now it is high time to gather knowledge about International Business and
Management in order to start my own business in textile sector and to operate it globally.
I used to participate in many competitions in my School, College and University and I won prizes
in some competitions such as Science Fair, Basketball Tournament, Table Tennis Tournament
etc. I was a member of the Scout Team in my school. After completing my Higher Secondary
Certificate Examination I started to teach students as a private tutor and managed my own
expenditure to complete my Bachelor. I am very passionate about music. In the last two
farewell programs of my department in University I was the head of the music department. I
have been teaching drums since 2009. I have a band which was formed by me in 2015 and we
have an EP which has been released on several formats in the United States and in a few
European countries. I am also playing drums for a Danish band called Rodbehandling in my
leisure time. I manage lots of things besides my study. If I wasn’t hard-working enough then it
would be really difficult for me to handle all of these things together.
I used to work as Manager at Brand Marrow Communications in Bangladesh. Brand Marrow
Communications is a building consultancy firm that works for different types of design like
architectural, civil, electrical, plumbing etc. of any kind of building construction. This company
works for both of public and private sectors. Being an important part of this organization I
worked for so many successful projects. One of the successful projects in 2018 was to work for
Bangladesh Power Development Board in Power and Energy Week 2018 which took place at
the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka. The program was inaugurated by
none other than the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the chief guest. We made two pavilions of
32’x16’ and 16’x8’ for Bangladesh Power Development Board and one pavilion of 16’x16’ for
West Zone Power Distribution Company LTD. (WZPDCL). We got award for the work which was
done for Bangladesh Power Development Board. I always worked under pressure as my role for
the company was very important there and I enjoyed my work.
There are many reasons to choose UK for higher study. One of those reasons is UK is one of the
happiest countries on earth with lower rate of crime. UK is a kingdom of developing country
and idyllic landscapes; an ancient society with a green lifestyle. Coming to UK for higher study
had always been a dream for me. UK has a very good reputation for providing world class
education which is recognized and accepted by all over the Globe. I have also experienced the
different food culture of this country. There’s a unique breakfast dish known as junket crumble,
made from a mixture of rye bread and brown sugar which is delicious. Besides, it is possible to
have a very social student life in UK. The whole of UK speak English as a first language and that
is why being an international it is very easy to communicate with people here in UK. I have
already stayed here in Denmark for more than one year. I know the rules & regulations of the
country of UK because I have many friends there. From my friends, I have already known the
rules and regulations of UK.I promise that I will maintain all the rules and regulations of UK.So, I
think it will be beneficial for me to complete another Master’s degree here rather than going to
another country. I think the beautiful and friendly environment will help me to make a good
result.
After completing the Master’s program at University of Ulster in UK I know that I will get many
opportunities to work in Bangladesh. I am confident that this program will make me skilful
enough to work in my own company as a top-ranked manager who is not only able to find out
problems but also able to give proper solutions. This master’s program will help me a lot to
learn techniques for improving my business results. The whole course is taught in English and it
will take 2 years to complete. In this time I will be able to get much more theoretical knowledge
along with the practical applications of the theories to business practice which I must need. I
will also have a UK Degree if I get the scope to study this program at University of Ulster in UK.
So it would be a great pleasure for me if I can get such an opportunity to study this program at
University of Ulster in UK.
I am the only son of my parents and I have one younger sister. We have some lands beside our
own house in Dhaka where I want to start my business of fabric manufacturing in future. Being
the eldest child I have so many responsibilities for my family and that is why I wish to return to
my family in my homeland as soon as possible after completing my higher study in UK. I always
think to contribute to the welfare of my country as I am a patriotic person. If I get the scope to
study this Master’s program then I will be able to do something good for my business in textile
industry and I believe that this is the way to do something good for my native country too.
I firmly believe that, the combination of continuing desire for self-improvement, increased
learning, and thus to lay new paths with new ideas, is my defining character. I further believe
that this character will lead me ahead successfully to explore new horizons and lay new ideas in
business industry. At the same time I hope that my experience in the business field and my
strong motivation of clear indications of probable future success in business industry will be
recognized and I will be granted an opportunity to study at University of Ulster in UK.
