TERMS OF REFERENCE
Position Title: Training Officer
Reporting to: District Manager
Duty Station: Kasur / Pakpattan
Project Title: AAWAZ-II JOB PURPOSE: Training Officer responsibilities include communicating with the relevant focal person at the Aawaz II Programme Management Unit (PMU) to identify and map out delivery plans for Trainings in the respective Tehsils Aawaz Aagahi Centers (AACs), and Village Forums of the District. The Training Officer will be responsible for training delivery at the District level including managing, coordinating and conducting all the District and Tehsil level training related activities with support from Aawaz II Capacity Building Partner and PMU.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Map out annual training and delivery plan in the district for community members, resource persons and Aawaz Youth Volunteers in consultation with the Capacity Building Partner, PMU and Provincial Lead. Monitor trainings, supervise and facilitate the Aawaz Youth Volunteers during the roll out of AAWAZ ll activities in the community such as supporting implementation of Social Action Plans (SAPs) and keep track of actions taken by the trained persons on Aawaz II thematic areas Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of trainings and gather regular feedback from facilitators and trainees Apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness using established templates and track and report on training outcomes Handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment Work closely together with colleagues in both the community and field teams to ensure effective communication of the development needs of the participants and efficient use of resources Ensure that all records are kept as appropriate and that the systems for tracking and recording post- course progress and outcomes are maintained and updated. Liaise with AACs Coordinator to ensure compilation of data for post course support and evaluation purposes Support District Manager in advocacy related work and managing overall project activities in the district. Complete safeguarding training and orientation. Ensure that safeguarding content in trainings is delivered effectively. Coordinate with the PMU and Communications Partner in dissemination of communication and awareness raising messages. Stay up to date on community development principles and new training methods and techniques Any other relevant tasks as assigned ELIGIBILITY CRIETRIA: This role requires a Master’s degree in business or related field of study with three years’ relevant experience in the development sector in training and capacity development of community groups and stakeholders. Experience with different projects, like management training and soft-skills development, is also essential. S/he should also be familiar with the instructors, community engagement, and ensuring the training participant receives statutory required training. The ideal candidate has experience with various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs and e-learning. S/he has knowledge of training methodologies, training assessment, and mentoring adult instructional and learning theory and principles, training methodologies.
