within your workstation prior going home.

utensils, etc.) prior going home.

 Office

 For those who will Travel
 Be vigilant at all time.
 Don’t leave your things unattended.
 Minimise wearing and displaying your valuable things while in a crowded area
like airport, seaport and bus terminals.
 If by sea: Check weather forecast for the next 3 days to check weather and sea
condition.
 While on-board a ship, know the following:
 Location of live-saving devices (life vest/jacket)
 Nearest Muster Station to your accommodation
 Placement of firefighting equipment (fire extinguisher)
 Access to clinic (or at least to the Medical Officer on-board;
usually it’s the 2nd Officer of the ship).
 If driving, especially for long distance trip: Remember to bring BLOWBAG
 Focus on Driving
 Keep 100% of your attention on driving at all times – no multi-
tasking.
 Don’t use your phone or any other electronic device while
driving.
 Slow down. Speeding gives you less time to react and increases
the severity of an accident.
 Drive Defensively
 Be aware of what other drivers around you are doing, and
expect the unexpected.
 Assume other motorists will do something crazy, and always be
prepared to avoid it.
 Keep a 2-second cushion between you and the car in front of
you.
 Make that 4 seconds if the weather is bad.
 Make a safe driving plan
 Build time into your trip schedule to stop for food, rest breaks,
phone calls or other business.
 Adjust your seat, mirrors, etc. before putting the car in gear.
 Pull over to eat or drink. It takes only a few minutes.
 Practice Safety
 Secure cargo that may move around while the vehicle is in
motion.
 Don’t attempt to retrieve items that fall to the floor.
 Have items needed within easy reach – such as toll fees, toll
cards and garage passes.
 Always wear your seat belt and drive sober and drug-free.
 General Reminder
 Be responsible to your own safety and to the people that surrounds you.
 Be mindful of the food you eat.
 Wash your hands as frequent as possible.
 Drink responsibly.
 Avoid the use of any firecrackers.
 For those who have Asthma or other respiratory disorders; stay away from
smokes or any other irritants that can trigger the condition.
 For any medical emergencies, please proceed to the nearest medical facilities and
hospitals in your area.
