OPERATION
<Room lamp>
 Placing the room lamp switch in the ‘‘ON’’ position causes the room lamp to come on at all times.
 Opening any one of the doors with the room lamp switch in the ’DOOR’ position causes the room
lamp to come on.
 Closing all doors causes the room to go out.
<Luggage compartment lamp>
 Battery voltage is being applied at all times to the luggage compartment lamp through the Fuse No.
15 (15A) in EF box.
 Opening the tailgate or trunk lid turns ON the tailgate switch or luggage compartment lamp
switch, causing the luggage compartment lamp to light up.
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS
1. Room lamp does not come on.
(1) Luggage lamp is not ‘‘ON’’, either.
 Check Fuse No. 15 (15A) in EF box.
(2) Room lamp does not come on when any door is opened with the room lamp switch in the
‘‘DOOR’’ position.
 Check bulb.
 Check room lamp switch.
(3) Room lamp does not come on when a door is opened with the room lamp switch in the
‘‘DOOR’’ position.
 Check door switch (of the suspected door).
2. Luggage compartment lamp does not come on.
(1) Room lamp is normal.
 Check bulb.
 Check luggage compartment lamp switch.
