initial phases, parallel to each other.

(b) A wire of 1m length & weighing 2g, will be in resonance with a frequency of
300 Hz. Find the tension on stretching of wire.

28. (a) Obtain differential equation of Linear SHM. Hence obtain the dimensions of
force constant.
(b) Find the frequency of 5th overtone of an air column vibrating in a pipe closed
at one end.
Length of pipe is 42.10 cm along and speed of sound in air at room
temperature is 350 m/s. (d- inner diameter 3.5 cm)
