REFLECTIONS
Using an unbiased perspective in assessing the LR material, the SLM was able to
meet all the requirements. The material included in-text citations and references to ensure
that it is free from issues on copyrights and plagiarism.
It could be improved if it will include after-lesson activities, how the learning can be
applied to real-life situations or how it important to learners’ daily life.
The use of this tool was helpful in validating the appropriateness of the LR that is
tailored-fit to the learning needs of the learners, while at the same time targeting the
curriculum requirements of the subject.
However, I would have appreciated if the LR material tool can include assessment
questions that checks on how the material can develop higher order thinking skills of the
learners and how it can incorporate/instil positive discipline and values even in distance
learning.
