What Is New In Stampack V7.2.2

Stampack V7.2.2 is the first released patch version of Stampack V7.2 and is available for
download on our website.

Several significant improvements and bugs in Stampack V7.2 have been added and fixed for the
Stampack V7.2.2 patch.

It is strongly recommended to all users to install the Stampack V7.2.2 patch right away to benefit
from the implemented improvements.

Steps to install:

• Download the Patch Installer.


• Unzip the installation file.
• Execute the file.

It is essential that all Stampack V7.2 applications are closed before starting the patch installation!

.-The Patch 7.2.2 has an improvement of the FLC approximation for Aluminum materials.

.-Added preferences button in the calculate window:

.-Contact algorithm for 3D solid formulation has been modified. Penalty, cutoff and
frequency parameters are set automatically and user does not need to take care of them.

.-3D solid springback reaction forces of constraints are now shown in the results.

.-Enhancement in the definition of the Maximum Shear Strain for TFD Approximation:

.-Do not change render mode when using move option.


.-Enhanced post-processing reducing size of *.f17 calculation files for 3D solid models.
.-Enhancement regarding calculation of total execution time has been implemented.

Fixed Bugs

.-General improvement in the speed-up of the Stampack interface has been implemented.

.-The blanking functionality has been modified and the execution speed has been
increased.

.-The move function has been modified and now, the execution speed has been modified.

.-The Calculate Icon remained sometimes active after calculation termination.

.-Do not cancel commands when changing the render.

.-Density units for rubber in US system were not set correctly.

.-Contact pressure in US system was not shown properly.

.-Several improvements and bug fixing in solid formulation contact algorithm:

• More robust in general, especially between flexible contact pairs.


• Robust handling of initially penetrated nodes.
• Improvement on time computations (around 5-15% less).
• Fixed all bugs detected and reported by end-users.

.-Fixed all bugs detected and reported by end-users in Trop Solver.
