How To Form The Plurals
All the words that end with S, SS, SH, CH, X, O, will have
ES added at the end of the word.
All the words that end with Y after a consonant, the Y will
be replaced with IES.
All the words that end with an F and FE (with some exceptions)
will be replaced by VES.
All the words ending with GE will have an S added at the end
of the word (the pronunciation will change to ¨yis¨ at the end).
Words that change without rules (they don´t follow any rule.
They are also called IRREGULAR PLURALS):
MAN - MEN
WOMAN - WOMEN
CHILD - CHILDREN
FOOT - FEET
TOOTH - TEETH
MOUSE – MICE
PERSON – PEOPLE
OX – OXEN
GOOSE – GEESE
