Limestone: Lime: 20 KG: Kgmole PG

The limestone contains 52% CaCO3 and 30% MgCO3. Coal with 13.8% VCM and 8.6% ash is burned to calcine the limestone. Analysis of the kiln gas shows 18.57% CO2, 1% CO, 0.22% H2, 8.39% O2 and 1.82% N2. The problem is to calculate the kg of limestone per kg of coal burned and the lime-fuel ratio.
