It has an estimated useful life of 10 years with a scrap value of RM15,000. Compute the depreciation for the fifth year using the straight line method. The transportation cost was RM350. Find the amount of payment if Puan Suria paid the invoice on 20" January 2015. (8 marks) b) Mr. Boon is a single parent with two children. One of the son is pursuing his degree at a local university, while the other one is in secondary school. Mr. Boon spent RM750 on books and he paid RM1,200 for life insurance premiums. He contributed RM550 per month for EPF. He also donated RM720 to the World Vision organization, His monthly income was RM5,000. Calculate his total tax payable. The customer has to pay 10% down payment and the balance will be settled on a monthly basis for 10 months. The dealer charges an interest of 10% per annum based on reducing balance. By using the constant ratio formula, compute the interest charged. (7 marks) b) Miss Yen invested RM P into an account that paid 5% interest compounded monthly. After 8 years, the investment will be used to pay the RM150,000 down payment for a condominium that cost RM650,000. The balance of the payment will be financed by a bank that charges 4.85% interest compounded monthly for 20 years. She plans to pay equal monthly payments to settle the debt. ’) Find P.
