RECORDING FEE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2011

Pursuant to Senate Bill 369, A County Clerk shall collect a recording fee of $25.00 for each document filed or
recorded by the County Clerk. If a document being filed or recorded contains more than ten entries to be indexed,
the County Clerk shall charge an additional $25 for each additional block of ten or fewer entries to the index from
each document.

PLEASE CONTACT YOUR COUNTY CLERK TO VERIFY INDEXING PROCEDURES AND EXACT AMOUNTS.

Grantor & Grantee = Every name indexed counts as one entry for indexing. For example:
Ben White and Ellen White, husband and wife =2
Ellen White, Individually and Attorney in Fact for Ben White =2
Ellen White Attorney in Fact for Ben White = 1
Ellen White, aka Ellen Louise White = 1
Ellen White, aka Ellen Ferguson = 2
Ellen Ferguson-White = 1
Ellen White, Personal Representative of the Estate of Charles White = 1
Legal Descriptions =Subdivided Lots = ALL LOTS WITHIN THE SAME BLOCK ARE 1 ENTRY
Lots 1, 2, 3 Block 7 Aber Addition = 1 entry (all contained in 1 Block)
All of Block 7 Aber Addition = 1 entry
Lot 1 Block 7 and Lot 1 Block 8 Aber Addition = 2 entries (2 Blocks)
LOTS AND TRACTS THAT ARE NOT INCLUSIVE OF A BLOCK ARE INDEXED AS 1 ENTRY
Lots 7, 12, 15, 78 of Hills Village Subdivision = 1 entry
Tracts A, B and C of Acres North Subdivision = 1 entry
Legal Descriptions = Non-Subdivided = ALL PARCELS WITHIN THE SAME SECTION ARE 1 ENTRY
SE¼ of Section 6, Township 11 North, Range 30 East = 1 entry (all in 1 section)
S½NE¼, NW¼, SE¼SW¼ Section 6 T11N, R30E = 1 entry (all in 1 section)
SE¼ Section 6, SW¼ Section 7, T11N, R30E = 2 entries (2 Sections)
SE¼ Section 6, SW¼, NW¼NE¼ Section 7, All Section 8 T11N, R30 E = 3 entries (3 Sections)

THE SAME ABOVE DESCRIBED METHOD SHOULD APPLY TO ALL DOCUMENT TYPES THAT ARE RECORDED
INCLUDING SURVEY & PLATS. DOCUMENTS THAT CONTAIN SEPARATE LEASES OR MORTGAGES ARE
COUNTED SEPERATLY PER LEASE/MTG

Additional related entries such as additional mortgages or oil & gas leases on a release or assignments should be
treated as individual entries. Lease Numbers or Books & Pages and/or legal descriptions are utilized for indexing
purposes on Oil & Gas Recordings, Mortgages, and/or assignments.

Im ages Burned to CD $0.10 per im age plus a set-up fee of $15.00.

Search Fees & Isolated Jobs Courtesy searches w ill be free at the discretion of
the County Clerk. Searches & Services that
require the devoted attention of an em ployee (ie:
Com panies scanning docum ents using their ow n
equipm ent and/or redacting for a private vendor)
should be at a rate of $20 per hour
