I connect with Yelp users and encourage them to keep writing positive reviews. I also write my own reviews and answer questions
about Yelp as well as various businesses in Manhattan. Another aspect of my job is finding top Yelpers and nominating them for
elite status. I am responsible for being a go to resource for Yelpers in the Manhattan community.
I was a Dance Competition Judge for Showstopper where we had to use technology to score as well as watch the dances and
speak verbal corrections into mics for them to play back later. It taught me how to be attentive to all things that were happening
and multitask at the same time.
I teach ballet to ages 8-25. While teaching, I think on the fly and lead the class in a kind but authoritative way.
I assisted with dance camps for 3-6 year olds and taught them the fundamentals of dance, especially ballet to the children.
I was an employee with Shore Couture. I modeled for the store as well as being a cashier/consultant for the customers. I enjoyed
helping the women in the store put together outfits and encouraging them to find something beautiful.
I help find product lines for the company to bring to various shopping channels.
My mom is a show host on QVC and I help her with her page as well as posting on my own page, Cara Treacy. Most Recently, I
wrote a “behind-the-scenes” blog for QVC in December 2016 after appearing on the air as part of their Christmas Gift Show.
I attended Villa Maria Academy for my freshman and sophomore years of high school, before leaving to attend an all day pre-
professional ballet program at The Rock School in Philadelphia.
I was chosen as one of the 100 members of the Disney Dreamers Academy Class of 2014. From March 6-9, the “dreamers” went
to Disney and participated in various workshops that encouraged us to follow our dreams and how to make our dreams a reality. A
highlight of the weekend was meeting Steve Harvey and being able to learn from his success and his advice that he gave us. More
information about the program can be found on www.disneydreamersacademy.com.
Out of the 700 members of past Disney Dreamers Academy classes, I was chosen as one of the 5 ambassadors, known as
champions for the 2014-2015 year. As a champion, I promote the program over social media and attend various events around the
country, such as the Essence Festival in New Orleans, to speak about and promote the academy. More information about my role
as a champion can be found at www.disneydreamersacademy.com/dreamers/champions/2015.
Skills I am living in NYC working towards a professional musical theater career as well as being a fitness instructor and
aspiring Public Relations professional.
I am very outgoing and personable. I love talking to people and connecting with others.
