PC software Manual*

*PC software dedicated only to GPRS S8 series


Tabs description:

• Connection tab options:

o Connect to device (after connection all device settings will be loaded automatically)
o Load all commands from file (and save in device)
o Save all commands to file (read from device)
o Disconnect from device

• Softupdate tab options (new GPRS S8 series feature) :

o Locally softupdate via PC programming cable. To softupdate device first download device
software from partnership website or please ask in office for files. Then select folder where
files are – device will upgrade software during very short time.
• Commands tab options:

o All device setting can be edit here


o Full command description is available in technical documentation. Please check partnership
for such file or contact our support.

• Log tab
o Device real time log monitor – for advanced users only – please contact support for more
details
• Raw log tab
o Device raw real time log monitor – for advanced users only - please contact support for more
details
Diagnostic panel

Please notice that you can always check main device status in diagnostic tab that is located on bottom
side of application.

Information available in diagnostic panel:

• DEVICE <-> PC Connection status


• PC software version
• Connected device software version
• GSM signal 0/31
• GPS:
o Fix – mean that device is properly synchronized with GPS
o Fix – mean that device cannot find satellites to synchronize with GPS
• TCP server:
o Connected – device is connected to customer server properly
o Disconnected – device is not connected to customer server
