Extra Curricular Activities:

 Participated in two Hackathons organized in college.
 One of the Hackathon’s was organized on the day of Indian Independence, so I and
my team decided to create an app using the MIT App Inventor to build a solid prototype
of our application which highlighted the events that taking place in our college and
across the country.
The other Hackathon that I and my team participated was organised on World health
day and the primary focus of this event was on people suffering from mental health and
depression. So the design of our app was based on making interactive app for such users
so that they could feel closer to the world and use their phones effectively.

 Participated in a 3D printing workshop organized in college.

The majority of the event covered topics based on ranging from additive manufacturing to
designing softwares such as AutoCad, Creo, Catia. The activity involved in this topic was
based designing our own model in one those 3D designing software and printing it.
The workshop provided a lot of insights into manufacturing technology advancements and
future of materials science.

What are your short term and long term objectives? (Max. 150 Words)
I am a fresher without any prior experience of working in this field. Therefore, my short term goals
would be to break into this field with the help of the position as an intern in your company. I
believe that your company will provide me with the necessary environment that shall provide me
with exceptional skills and experience to grow in this field and make an asset in the society.
While the short-term goals are a major priority now, I do have some long term plans. Whatever may
be the position right now, I promise to work hard and rise up the ranks and perform my duties as a
team leader.

Why would you like to do a project with ITC & how do you think you can add value to ITC & to
yourself? (Max 150 Words)
I would like to intern on the technical side as I am a firm believer in the fact that working in your
esteemed organisation’s environment will help me hone my skills as an engineer and I would be able
to develop the confidence and apply my classroom knowledge on the technical projects handled by
your team.
I believe I have the necessary skills and assets to be a part of the company as I have strong
fundamental knowledge in the field area where I would be positioned.
The impact of this internship will help to provide me with immense and in depth outlook towards
the practicality of subjects that I have learned and also position me to skill up myself towards a
better understanding of the field I am interested in pursuing.

What do you think is your most significant achievement? Please give reasons for the same. (Max. 150
words)
The most significant achievement for was to get placed in this college which I consider as my
second home and the other significant part of this outcome was I getting placed in a core branch
and that too Mechanical. The lessons I learned not only in classrooms but in general,life,here were
of utmost importance. The friends I made and the experience I had interacting with them were
enriching and energizing. Professors in this college are really good experts in their respective fields
and they strengthen our fundamentals in the subject so that these remain to the core our lives till
eternity.

Give an instance where you put Mind Over Matter. (Max. 150 Words)
After receiving a SCGPA of 5.84 after my second semester, I was completely devastated as I had
done really in the previous semester. I was actually concerned for myself as I was worried that I
might not be able to sit placements. Therefore I when I had entered my third semester I made a
few things clear to myself that I would start concentrating more on my academics. So right from day
one I started attending lectures and focused on understanding basic concepts thoroughly first, and
this I did by asking doubts to professors during the lectures, and for an introverted person like me
this was a big step as during my first year in college I generally tended to avoid any sort of
communication with the professors. But in my third year I decided to establish good relationship
with them. I also interacted with classmates and friends who were facing similar troubles in
academics and together we organised ‘Doubt Clearing Sessions’ to help out each other.
The journey was painstakingly hard however I overcame all the hurdles that came my way and
bounced back with a SCGPA of 7.92 in my third semester and further I improved on it by getting a
SCGPA of 8.25 in my fourth semester.
