4 The student demonstrates proper technique in all 4 cues of dribbling a soccer ball during a
game/activity.
3 The student demonstrates proper technique in all 4 cues of dribbling soccer ball.
2 The student demonstrates proper technique in at least 2-3 cues of dribbling a soccer ball.
1 The student demonstrates proper technique or can verbally explain at least 1 of the 4 cues of
dribbling a soccer ball.

2 The student demonstrates proper technique in at least 2 cues of passing a soccer ball.
1 The student demonstrates proper technique or can verbally explain at least 1 of the 3 cues of
passing a soccer ball.
The students learned about muscular strength/endurance the last few weeks of PE class.
They were given examples and practiced both in class to see the differences.
Assessments: Can be given in oral, written or other forms used in class to verify the
understanding of the material. We use the Focused Fitness Curriculum to help in some
assessments.
Muscular Strength: The ability of a muscle to push or pull with its total force. MS is built by
doing very hard exercises and 8 or less repetitions are not able to be completed.
Ex: 6 reps of heavy bicep curls or being able to lift only 2 heavy bags of leaves
SOLS Assessed:
4 The student is able to identify all 5 intensity levels and give examples
(activities/games etc.) of each level
3 The student is be able to identify all 5 intensity levels
5 Intensity levels:
1: sitting-low heart rate no sweating
2: walking-low heart rate, little to no sweating
3: fast walking-heart rate slightly, starting to sweat
4: jogging-heart rate raised to THR (target heart rate), sweating, and uncomfortable to talk
5: sprinting-burst of speed, heart rate high, cannot talk, sweating a lot
