Analogous Systems

This document provides an example of modeling a mechanical system as an analogous electrical circuit using the force-voltage analogy. It contains: 1) A two-mass mechanical system with springs and dampers connecting the masses, and defines the governing equations of motion at each mass node. 2) The derivation of the analogous electrical circuit model by replacing forces with currents, displacements with voltages, masses with inductances, springs with capacitances, and dampers with resistances in the mechanical equations. 3) The electrical circuit diagram representing the analogous two-inductor system with resistors and capacitors connecting the inductors.
