Defect List: Project Name: Cambodia China Polytechnic University (CCPU)

Mega Asset Management Co., Ltd. issued a defect list for the Cambodia China Polytechnic University project. The defect list identifies two issues with the rebar lap length of bored piles P6Da and P9F for the pile cap. Koh Pich Bored Pile did not provide sufficient lap length for the rebar as required by the design. Photos show the cut rebar and remaining lap lengths of 200mm for P6Da and 300mm for P9F, which are not enough.  Issue: Rebar of bored pile as lap length in pile cap P6Da is not enough. Two rebar were cut by hydraulic pile
breaker during pile’s head breaking. (Main bar diameter are 20 mm)

 Issue: One bar of Reinforcement cage has cut. The existing length is just 300mm, so total lap length of
anchored rebar for pile cap will be not enough.
