grand vision of other idealists, but is not always very discriminating. (China
tends to be genuinely psychic and spiritual, but has difficulty adjusting to the
harshness of the material world.) Causticum idealism is based upon two
factors; firstly a deep empathy for the suffering of others (Kent:
'Sympathetic'), and secondly a deeply felt sense of justice. No other type
combines these two elements to such a great extent. A third element (which
helps to separate Causticum from Phosphorus) is a highly analytical mind.
