1. Ask pupils to look at the pictures. (TB page 93)
(60 minutes) 2. Get the pupils to talk about the pictures.
3. Prompt these questions for discussion.
4. Questions:
 What safety measures do you take at these places?
 Do you think safety measures are important? Why?
 What advice will you give your friends who do not practise these
safety measures?
5. Encourage pupils to share their responses to the class.

b. While listening-speaking:
1. Tell pupils that they are going to listen to a conversation between Encik
Hakimi and the pupils of 6 Robotics.
2. Teacher reads the dialogue.
3. Go through the dialogue with the pupils.
4. Pupils work individually.
5. Distribute listening task sheet to pupils.
6. Explain to pupils how to do this activity.
7. Teacher reads the statements. Pupils listen carefully and answer ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.
8. Teacher repeats reading the statements twice.
9. Discuss and confirm answers with pupils.

c. Post listening and speaking:


1. Divide pupils into groups.
2. Distribute task sheet to each group.
3. Pupils complete the dialogue on safety measures while riding a motorcycle.
4. Discuss the answers with pupils.
5. Get the pupils to role-play the completed dialogue.
