Climate-Lab John Vincent Villamor
PROCEDURES:
1. With the use of internet or other resources, identify the seven (7) continents
numbered below.
2. Indicate the climate zone which is the majority of the continent is located in. If
there is a certain continent, that has two types of climate zone, YOU MAY
ENCODE the two answers. (use the figure below as your reference)
Europe
Africa Australia
South America
Antarctica

3. Type first the name of the continent, followed by the climate zone.
1. NORTH AMERICA, TEMPERATE AND POLAR ZONES
2. SOUTH AMERICA, TROPICAL AND TEMPERATE ZONES
3. ANTARCTICA, POLAR ZONES
4. EUROPE, TEMPERATE AND POLAR ZONES
5. ASIA, TROPICAL AND TEMPERATE ZONES
6. AFRICA, TROPICAL AND TEMPERATE ZONES
7. AUSTRALIA, TROPICAL AND TEMPERATE ZONES
4. Refer to the table on the next page and answer the following questions.
Q1. Which city had the highest temperature? MANILA
Q2. What factor do you think is the cause of high temperature in that city?
if your area is located in the lower grounds, expect high temperature (warmer
weather). The factor that causes high temperature in that city is because of the
location, altitutude and ther distance of equator
Q4. What factor do you think is the cause of low temperature in that city?
Basically, in a certain country, if your area is located in a high altitude place, you
experience low temperature (cold weather). The distance to the equator affect
Vienna's climate of a place. At the poles, energy from the sun reaches the Earth's
surface at lower angles and passes through a thicker layer of atmosphere than at the
equator. This means the climate is cooler further from the Equator.
Q5. What factor do you think greatly affects the climate of Tokyo?
Factor that affects the climate of Tokyo, Japan such as altitude and latitude it can
greatly affects the weather and the climate of an area. the latitude from equator
commonly the climate brings warmer, the altitude height above sea level or earth's
surface.
