Guidelines for Writing Teaching Plan

 Follow these guidelines to help you write a complete teaching plan for the “Teaching-Learning Strategies”
course:

1. Determine your target learners who will receive teaching based on your assessment.
2. Identify the purpose of the teaching plan.
3. Set your major goal.
4. Set your specific objective(s) (you may write more than one objective)
5. For each objective written you should specify:
 Content outline (include the topics you will cover for this objective)
 Instructional method(s) (you can use more than one instructional method)
 Teaching time (i.e. the time needed for the teacher to conduct the teaching session)
 Learning time (i.e. the time needed for the learner to achieve the teaching/learning objective)
 Resources used. Resources for instruction (material, equipment)
 Evaluation method(s) (you can use more than one evaluation method)
6. Write your evaluation results and determine if your goal and objectives were met, partially met, or not
met.
7. Attach any teaching material used as appendices (e.g. Appendix A, Appendix B, …etc).
