Variety of tools used to keep students engaged in the lesson.
Main activity needs more elaboration in the planning to include the examples and there is an opportunity to
provide differentiated scaffolding
Materials used are appropriate and support such a complex topic.

Comments:
Used a variety of tools to engage students in learning.
Emphasis on raising hands – students are clear of the behavioural expectations.

Comments:
Use of Arabic to support the topic is very important as it is a very complex subject. Emphasis of pronunciation of
key words and explaining in Arabic reinforced the key vocabulary.
Materials, questioning and use of first language were excellent for this lesson and to connect to students’
understanding.

Comments:
Questioning throughout and calling students by name allows for checking on specific
Video with Arabic emphasised the key terms and the use of the quiz on Neapod allows all students to view the
answers – cleat assessment

Comments:
Clear lesson recall and reflection. Try to think a little deeper about what can improve – a reflection on
a specific group of students or student and how you can improve the learning experience for
them/him/her.
