BLENDS & DIGRAPHS
scavenger hunts
Go on a scavenger hunt around your house (inside and outside) to find objects
that match the blend or digraph on your board. Use the blank space to draw
a picture of it.
*For digraphs like ck, ph, or wr, it’s okay if your learner doesn’t match the
exact spellings. Focus on matching the sound instead. For example, giraffe
could match graph because they both end with a /f/ sound.
