Specs & Cats Piping Specifications and catalouges shall be created based on Functional Specs, PMS, VMS.
Support Catalouges Support catalouges shall be created based on SUPPORTED STANDARDS and Functional specs THROUGH MDS
Weight Weight to be assigned for every components as per standard and Vendor GAS.
Insulation Creation of Insulation specs as per clirent requirement.
Component Volume All reserved volume like Nozzle opening volume,Valve operating volume, Davit arm and other obstruction/Insulation volume
1 PDMS shall be created in PDMS Paragon module as per standard requirement to avoid soft clash.
Administrator Draft Setup Libraries for backing sheet,Representation rules and symbol etc., For Drawing requirement
and attribute defitions shall be created in admin mode.
Isodraft setup Isometric option file and backing sheet for Piping isometrics and attribute
defition for backing sheet shall be created in admin mode.
PDMS Model Register Periodical updation of Model register as per model status.
Missing Component register Frequent updation of missing components listed in component register.
Report Templates Preparation of report templates for BOM extraction and other templates as per client requirements.
Naviswork file Generation of updated model navis files as per the requirement and client colour coding.
Vendor GA updation Vendor GA shall be updated as per requirement.
Submission of DB Submission of Project database and naviswork file to client as per the requirement.
Integration Integration of project databases as required.
Trouble shooting Trouble shooting to give solutions for various problems.
Clash-Free modelling Every models to be modelled as Clash-free with co-ordination of other designers.
Savework and Unclaiming After completion of your modelling, the work done to be saved and Unclaimed.
2 Username and Password Proper specified Username and Password to be used while entering of PDMS modules,

No need of sharing your password and unless its required.
Access Required access for modelling can be obtained by intimating to be Project Administrator.
Missing component register Designers are requested to produce MCR for missing components.
Equipment Modelling Modelling of euipments as per Vessel GA.
Pipe Routing Routing of pipes as per P&ID"S.
Walkway Modelling Modelling of walkway as per client requirement.
Material handle Modelling Modelling of material handling euipments as per requirement.
Piping Material Please make sure that all material component selected in line same as per P&id and line Spec
3 PIPING Volume Block All reserved volumes like Maintaineance / laydown area ,walkway / safety route and Future Expansion shall be modelled
Designers in PDMS to avoid unauthorised routing in reserved area / soft clash.
Equipment naming All equipments and nozzles in PDMS to be named as per P&ID.
Line naming All line in PDMS to be named as per Process LINELIST.
Valve naming All valve in PDMS to be named as per P&ID.
Instrument naming All instrument should be named as per P&ID.
Tie-in point All Tie-in points in PDMS should be named as per P&ID.
Piping Isometrics All piping isometrics shall be generated from PDMS model as per the client requirement.
2D Drawings All piping GAD shall be drawn from PDMS model.
Report MTO All piping MTO shall be taken from PDMS model.
Tagging Tagging to be done as per the requirement.
Penetration atta creation Atta's to be created for penetration purposes.
Modelling of Structures Structures such as Framing, Columns ,Bracing etc., to be modelled by structural designers.
Modelling of Deckplates Deckplates to be modelled by structural designers.
Modelling of Grating Grating to be modelled by structural designers.
4 STRUCTURAL Modelling of Plating Plating to be modelled by structural designers.
Designers Modelling of Handrails Handrails to be modelled by structural designers.
Modelling of Ladder and Staircase Ladders and Staircase to be modelled by structural designers.
Modelling of Pipe support Pipe support to be modelled by structural designers in co-ordrination with piping designers.
Modelling of lift lug Lift lug to be modelled by structural designers as per the COG.
Modelling of euipment supports Equipment supports to be modelled by structural designers as per the requirement.
Penetration creation Penetration for pipe,structures,cable tray,electrical tray etc., to be created as per the requirement.
