2.1 Overview ofKeya Agro Process Limited
Keya Agro Process Limited (KAPL) is a self-depended, non-political and non-government
organization established on 9 February 2012 by the Md. Masum Pathan Managing Director of
Keya Agro Process Ltd. and Director of Keya Group.

Keya Agro Process Ltd. Started its journey by small stapes from 2008 but develop as a company
in 9 February 2012. At the first step of Keya Agro Process Ltd. was sold some vegetables about
310 Tk. And also some milk about 3 kg. Inside their factory. As it was found very useful, the
demand of KAPL products grew fast and which was not possible to meet customers demand
from small production.

The gradually,KAPL was trying to increase their production. When their milk production was
increased then they started thinking about the pure sweet production and selling to the factory
employee.

KAPL was trying to produce 100% pure milk and sweet, 100% organic vegetables and peoples
accept their products, because they don’t compromise in quality of their products.

Now Keya Agro Process Stand as a company and it has composed of 6 different sectors through
the hard work and dedication of the employees and blessings of people.

assist the pure foods for every bodies in very limited price and also try to decrease the
environmental stress by using organic fertilizer and planting the medicinal plants and undertake
various income generating to enhance the quality life intermesh of food, health and nutritious.

2.3 Corporate Governance

The supreme authority of Keya Agro Process Ltd. is General Body. It is composed of 7 members
from different sectors. The General Body is the highest policy and decision making body
members of Keya Agro Process Ltd.The Governing Body is responsible for the guidance of plan
and budget for the programs and projects to be implemented by the organization. The Governing
Body evaluates and monitors the implementation of policies, programs and projects through
various monitoring tools and visits to the project areas. The officer works as membersecretary of
both the Bodies

2.4 Historical Background

Bangladesh is primarily an agriculture depended economy. Agriculture is the single largest


producing sector of economy since it comprises about 30% of the country’s GDP and employing
around 60% of the total labor force. The performance of this sector has an overwhelming impact
on major macroeconomic objectives like employment generation, poverty alleviation, human
resources development and food security. Among the agriculture company Keya Agro
