The advent of technology and the popularity
of social media have proven that the gap (Selected student will able to explain their

almost completely waned. With one search
and a simple click on facebook, any user can
add and confirm as many friends as one
wants. With the convenience that
technology brings in making friends, do you
think that being a friend and befriending Yes sir, as long as the feeling is “mutual”.
another has become superficial?

By the way, you will going to meet some

words maybe you are not familiar with.
Well, let’s break that glass of unfamiliarity
and find out the meaning of the unfamiliar
words you may encounter thru a game.

So listen carefully for the mechanics of the

game. Okay?
“Yes Sir!”
The students will be divided in to four; each
group will be given pieces of paper with
words written on them. They will be asked to
match the words in their corresponding
meaning on the board.

They will come up with the following

words and their meaning.

Lounge - a public room, as in a hotel,

theater, or club, in which to sit and relax.
Prodded - poke (someone) with a finger,
foot, or pointed object.
Goosebumps - a state of the skin caused by
cold, fear, or excitement, in which small (Students will post their answers)
bumps appear on the surface as the hairs
become erect.

“Very nice! I am very pleased you were able

discuss your answers. Anybody who can tell
me what he/she notices with the following
words?” (Students will give their answers)

Here it goes!

the article then go to the discussion of the

together various other essential elements
of a narrative.

touch, smell, and taste. Writers employ
the five senses to engage a reader's
interest.” or so called, sensory image or
imagery

It is a truth that exhibits universality and

stands true for people of all cultures. “None Sir!”

It power ups the theme that gives readers

better understanding of the main
character’s conflicts, experiences,
discoveries and emotions as they are

writer tries to give his readers an insight
into how the world works or how he or she
