SPECIFATION REPORT

Specitication report to accompany the estimate for the work "Detailed estimate for soil
investigation, Design and Design Proof charges for the work "Construction of high level bridge across
River Godavari on the road from R & B Road to Mulakallanka of Seethanagaram Mandal."

Est. Cost Bs,55.00 lakhs

The work " Construction of high level bridge across River Godavari on the road from
R & B Road to Mulakallanka of Seethanagaram Mandal of East Godavari District." Is proposed
under EAP program wirh an estimate cost Rs.3500.00 lakhs. The sub Estimate is hereby preparesd
soil incestigation charges for the work with an estimates cost of Rs.55.00 Lakhs and submitted for
according necessary technical approval.
The total length of the bridge is 240mts with 8 spans of 30mts each. The estimate is
prepared with the following provisions.

l. Taking trail bores of 150mm dia. In soils composing all soils except rock on land and upto
I .25m depth of water complying with relevent standard specifications and supply of
distrubed soil samples in empty gunny bags not less than 25kgs of each sample at least for
2.00m intervals or every charges of soil including hire and operational charges of all T&P,
cost of platforms in water including boats, oil engine, cost and conveyance of all materials
and conveyance of soil samples from work spot to testing laboratory as directed by the
Engineer in charge of the work from bed level to 40.00m depth for Abutments and piers.

2. Extracting l00mm dia and 450mm long undistrubed samples of depth indicated by the
Engineer/Officer including maxing numbering and preserving of dispatching for tests as
per Engineer/Officer's direction at 1.50m interval or at every charge of strata in Abutments
and Drain portion.

J. Conducting standard penetration test at depth indicated by the Engineer in charges of the
work in pre drilled and cleaned 100mm dia. Bore including collecting the materials from
split spoon samples tec., complete at approximately one test per 3.50m depth etc.,
complete.

4. Provision fbr Laboratory test charges at Engineering college etc., complete.

5. Provision for Rental charges of Machine Boats for surveying,sample collections etc.,

6. Surveying the road profile by taking cross sectional levels at every 20m interval and
longitudinal levels, conducting compass survey including all charges etc., complete.

7. Tacking trail boring l50mm dia in all kinds of soil except rock upto 1.00m depth of water
complying with relevent standard specifications and supply of disturbed soil Samples in
empty gunney bags not less than 15 kgs of each sample atlest for every charge of soil
classification.

8. Tacking collecting undisturbed soil samples in all types of soils except rock in l00mm dia,
450mm long tubes complying with relevent standard specification with one side threaded
and both sides wax sealing including hire,operational charges of T&P etc., complete.
