Site Prerequisites
PoE device:
The PoE device will be installed indoors close to the OSDR
aggregation hub location. The Ethernet cable length between PoE
device and OSDR should not exceed 100 m.
PonE device:
The PonE device will be installed outdoors close to the OSDR
aggregation hub location.
The Ethernet cable length connecting the PonE device with the
OSDR should not exceed 100 m.
In case of longer distances (up to 200 m), a second Ethernet
cable can be used to interconnect PonE with the OSDR.

AC power cable Routing of the AC power cable, which connects the StreetNode
routing PtP / PtMP terminal / PtMP hub node to the local AC distributor or
socket, should be implemented as prescribed by the local
regulations regarding outdoor electrical installations.
DC power cable Routing of the DC power cable, which connects the PonE device
routing to the OSDR aggregation hub node, should be implemented as
prescribed by the local regulations regarding outdoor electrical
installations.

Line Of Sight Prior to installation, the installer must verify LOS availability
(LOS) toward the service area or toward specific StreetNode nodes.
verification
Each StreetNode terminal node needs to be in LOS with the
assigned hub (StreetNode hub or OSDR aggregation hub).
OSDR needs to be tilted downwards, according to radio planning
directives, so that its street-level service footprint includes all the
assigned StreetNode terminal nodes.
