I, Syed Mohammad Zubair Zahid is sharing my story of being here in UET Taxila.
My aim was to get admission in engineering university. Unfortunately, I could not
pass the Ecat Test last year. Therefore, I was a little depressed. I wanted to try my
luck again in Ecat but there were some people who advised me to take admission
in IET institute. I and particularly my family was not convinced on these
suggestions and recommendations. In the meanwhile, I thought of having a short
term degree that can help me in future. So, I decided to take admission in
vocational institute for CCA (Computer Application Course). Afterwards, I took
admission in STEP Academy for preparing ECAT Test again. Thus, I started working
hard to achieve my goal. At last, the day of exam came. I was afraid that I would
not be able to secure a seat in University of Engineering and Technology due to
low scores but I prayed and did not lose hope.
Later, I submitted admission forms of four engineering Universities. My aggregate
was not upto the merit of 1 st merit list of UET Taxila. Incidentally, the merit got
down and I secured a seat in Electronic engineering. In short, I paid all dues and
took admission in electronic engineering. Now, I am in UET Taxila and studying
electronic engineering.
