The school utilizes various educational technologies including laptops, internet connection, smartphones, TV/radio, online learning applications, flash drives, headsets, and ring lights. While most students have access to some of these technologies, not all students have the same privileges and capabilities to access all the technologies. The biggest weakness is the expensive and poor internet connection in the Philippines. The school has many educational technologies available but may need to invest in more tools to better support distance learning during the pandemic, such as improving internet infrastructure to support all students' online learning needs.

To Sum It All Up

After listing down and classifying the different educational technologies that the
school is using, answer the questions for the conclusion of your observation.(3-5
sentences only)

1. Does the school have enough educational technologies that are accessible for
the teachers and students? Justify your answer.

I believe, the school had their enough educational technologies to address the
needs of the students in this new setting of education, but I think not all of the
students have the same privilege and capability to have these technologies like
those people that I know. Yes there is an option to choose modular learning but the
problem is not ending with that solution. In that solution there is a new problem like
what my cousin is experiencing in his modules specifically in his math subject.
Luckily I have a sister who has Bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistic so she can
help our cousin who’s in grade 8. My point is not all of the learners have like what
my cousin’s had. But with the grace of the Lord we will conquer all of these
challenges.

2. Which among the technologies you listed have the most weaknesses? Suggest
ways on how you can turn its weaknesses into a strength.

The internet connection, the major hindrance of online learning is the expensive
and poor internet connections in the Philippines. My family can’t afford to have the
premium subscription so we need to deal on what we have right now. But like what
I always say, I will not question myself on what I am going to do but on HOW I am
going to do. Even the most negative word in this time of pandemic is positive. I will
stick positive that all of these struggles will be resolved soon. We need to be still
an entrust ourselves with his (Lord) plan.

3. Do you think that the school has a sufficient number of educational


technologies available for utilization? Expound your answer.
The school had, but during this time it will become useless become we are facing a
new setting of education which is distance learning. Let me correct myself not
totally useless because teachers can use it to provide learnings to his/her students.

4. What other technological tools/facilities does the school need? Suggest some
and give the reasons why you suggested them.

In this time of pandemic, I am humbly suggesting to the administration of Bulacan


State University to have this BulSu TV in every college so that Asynchronous
Online Learners and Modular Learners can visit it in their free time. I know why
they choose these modes of learning because they have work to attend to (few of
them don’t want to wake up early). Maybe their parents were retrenched from their
job. In their own simple way they are able to help their parents. But I know it is
ready hard to do. Well that is my suggestion thankyou.
