Bachelor of Science-Accounting & Finance

Assignment:
Identify, analyze, and discuss the firm your group selects referencing the following list of
Organization Behavior topics. Include antecedents (causes), impacts, implications, alternative
options (scenarios) and recommendations as appropriate. Support your thesis with specific
observations, dialogue and research.

 Leadership
 Culture
 Motivation
 Diversity
 Human Behavior
 Self-efficacy/self esteem
 Communication (interpersonal and intrapersonal)
 Attitudes (to include attribution, stereotyping, prejudice, discrimination)
 Power and influence
 Conflict
 Decision making (styles, groupthink etc.)

Guidelines:

 Class will be divided into groups, each group consisting of 3 students, for the purpose
of completing this project.
 This project is intended to provide the students an opportunity to conduct research,
demonstrate understanding of the course content as well as gain a "real time"
experience of working with others.
 Research should include articles, books, published interviews, and real time interviews
at the work place of the selected organization.
 Group members, selection of organizations and project management will be discussed
during the class.
 Group presentations are mandatory and will take place during the last two sessions
before start of terminal exams.
Group Project Deliverables:

 1 page project plan which will include what, who, when, how of the project.
 15 minute group presentation.
 An integrated summary presentation paper that detail all questions and research of
the project (double spaced, 12 point in readable font 6-10 pages).
 Quality is more important than quantity.
 All Papers are due on the first day when presentations begin.
