Learning Objective:

Evidence of Mastery (Measurable):

Students will have a two day time frame to create a map of a country that was impacted by the protestant reformation, they
will research the impact the country faced, on the map they will use a key to identify 5 different aspects of the country that
were impacted by the protestant reformation and the location and label the map. (such as schools, churches, land use,
resources, etc)
¨ Determine the type of demonstration/activity the student will use to demonstrate mastery of the objective.
An artistic piece, a map with details and new information. Students will research new information, identify critical aspects and
apply it to a piece for presentation.
¨ What is the condition and degree, the setting or situation in which the student will be able to express the depth and
extent of learning?
During class students will be given time to research, design and examine resources. After the project is completed students
will share their maps within their groupmates.

Opening Activity

An opening activity in the beginning of class, I would like to layout a continent on each table and on the main board, place the
question, “Where do you think the protestant reformation first happened? Stand by the continent which you think this started
in.” then the students will stand by each continent and I will reveal the answer once all students are in place. After I would like
to show a John Greene Crash Course video on the Protestant Reformation, to sum up what we will be discussing.

an opener to what will be discussed in class.
