As the saying goes, it’s blessed to be born as a millennial in the 21st century that witnessed

the evolution of Computer & Information Technology and its related applications. Like many
other kids, my bonding with gadgets started with computers during my early years and later
with the most ubiquitous device, Mobile phone during teenage. As I grew, my quest for
learning increased with time, and during this process, I was able to frame up my mind that I
have a tiny role to play in this ever-growing domain and substantiated my position when I
witnessed the proliferation of technology in every walks of our life. I was fortunate during
school days to have teachers who saw my interest in technical subjects and encouraged me in
developing my analytical skills. It was due to a large part to their guidance and advice that I
chose Computer Science as my major in my undergraduate studies.
  
Being an inquisitive student, my fascination with technology coupled with the learning of
coding and core Computer Science concepts. At first, I started creating small projects for
myself by searching on the internet like Addition of two numbers. This greatly enhanced my
learning skills as well as dealing with ambiguity. To further explore the realms of the subjects
better, I started attending various Guest Lectures and Workshops. Through my four years of
undergrad, I acquired an overall perspective of this scientific discipline, with a particular
interest in Data Structures, Database Management, Internet of Things and Machine Learning.
In the case of languages, I developed a great interest in C++ and Java and gradually used
them to work on my projects.

I worked in a group project titled “Voice-Controlled Drone” where a Drone is controlled by


voice commands given through a mobile application using an Arduino and also worked on
“Image Detection” project where the species of insects are detected and the pesticides to be
used are suggested from the pictures provided, by using Machine Learning models., which is
very helpful for farmers.
 
I have interned at two different firms, one is with Linkwell Telesystems Pvt Ltd where I have
done a Java project, Safe Data Transfer between two applications by using Cryptographic
Algorithms and also interned at Tata Consultancy Services as part of my final year project,
where I worked as a ServiceNow Developer to integrate two applications using REST API.
These experiences solidified my understanding about the science of computer machines at the
grass-root level.
 
 I have always maintained right balance between my academics and co-curricular and
extracurricular activities which helped me grow as a person. I have been an active member
of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Youth and Nature Clubs, set by my college. We
worked in villages and slums on several activities. I have also volunteered in conducting
Hackathons and various cultural events at college and these experiences undoubtedly helped
me to grow individually, helped in developing management skills, inculcate leadership traits,
and gain knowledge about people from different walks of life and various sections of society.
 
After my final year, I was recruited by Tata Consultancy Services, where I’m working on an
Automation project.
 
While looking for an ideal destination to fulfill my dreams of working in higher profiles in
MNCs and with that extensive experience to become a Technopreneur in future, I decided to
go for further specialization to expand my skills to build modern technologies, and I am fairly
convinced that I could accomplish my dream by pursuing Masters in Computer Science in
your esteemed university after with inputs I could collect extensively in the last few months
from my friends & well-wishers, and the information on courses and curriculum posted on
the portal of Computer Science department of the University of Texas, Arlington. The
University has got an established track record of success and would like to carve my career
by being a part of this amazing study environment that could ultimately drive me towards my
professional goals. It
is also noticed that this university has excellent infrastructure and an intellectually stimulating
academic environment which is ideally suited for my future project plans. I am very
confident that obtaining a Master's degree in Computer Science from your university would
help me enhance my technical skills and aid me in achieving success professionally in all my
endeavours to enrich knowledge and enhance competency in the core area of expertise.
 
Thus, I sincerely put forth my gratitude for providing me with this opportunity to express
myself and I truly hope I get a consenting response from your university with possible
financial aid.

Throughout my graduation and practical work experience, I was fortunate to gain some required
experience in the domain of analytics.

The ultimate goal of mine is to make a commendable and constructive career in the field and
contribute my bit to the society. A dedicated study in Computer Science would help me gain a lot of
experience, along with adding to my previous knowledge on the subject.

In addition to the courses that I have taken, I have been very active outside of the classroom

During my undergraduate study, I was exposed to subjects related to Computer Science


engineering such as Information Technology & Numerical Methods, Object Oriented
Programming, Computer Organization, Database Management System, Operating Systems
and Systems Programming Lab, Artificial Intelligence, Theory of computation, Principles of
Programming Languages, Advanced UNIX Programming Language, Multimedia and Web
Design, Neural Networks. Apart from these, I am also well versed with the software
languages like C, C++ with Data Structures, Java, Uml and Html

Apart from having the academic proficiency, I was actively involved in extra-curricular
Activities

An eminent faculty, excellent research facilities, pleasant university ambience and a balanced
academic program which are very much conducive to the fields of my interest I feel, make
the
right place to embark upon an academic career. Your university is a confluence of people
from varied culture, nationality, religion, race and ideology. I am sure that my exposure to
these kinds of diverse influences would aid in the overall development of my personality.
I aver that I possess the intellectual ability and the preparation to set out on an exhilarating
and arduous path of graduate study at your university. I am sure that my aptitude and drive
will see me through the challenge and I am convinced that my study at your department
would be a rewarding experience. I look forward to have a long and beneficial association
with your esteemed university with sufficient financial support.
Finally I take this opportunity to thank you for allowing me to express myself and I look
forward for my admission into the graduate program of your esteemed university.

Therefore, I would like to pursue a course that not only supplements the knowledge I possess,
but also provide a strong foundation for my research oriented study, which would allow me to
explore the unknown in this science of Computer Science Engineering.

The project was like a valuable feather added to my cap.

As of now, I seek an entry to a respectable academic establishment wherein I will be in touch with
the best brains who nurture budding talent and turn them into hardcore professionals. I believe my
stint with this academic establishment is going to be a goldmine of knowledge and experience in the
true sense of the term. The distinctive knowledge, which I will be adorned with while studying in this
reputed University, will be helpful in future years when I will look for professional and personal
enrichment.
