TV programmes
Write a short paragraph about the TV programme, using the cues given to help your
writing.

 Here are some examples!

 My favourite kinds of TV programes are cartoons. I watch cartoons in the afternoon


after school. At the weekends I watch travel programes. I love travel programes and
Discovery, but I hate watching programes about policy, because they say nonsense.

I hate watching cartoons about Tom and Jerry, because this cartoon is meaningless.

 Television is a wonderful invention of modern science. It has brought the world closer
to us. It gives us both picture and sound. We can see and hear various programmes from
a great distance. There are numerous channels on TV and numerous programmes are
telecast by them. My favourite channel is Discovery Channel and my favourite TV
programmes is the ‘Wild Life’ I like this programmes very much. Movie, drama, magic
shows etc are entertaining but none of them are real. But ‘Wild Life’ shows all the real
things. Real tigers, real whale, real lions and real jungle.

I not only enjoy programme as a mean of entertainment but also can learn many thing
from the commentary of the programme. Wild life, their food habit, their living place,
birth, nature, threat all are described during the programme. These descriptions enrich
my knowledge about wild life and forest. Sometimes, I come to such information which
I could never thought neither could learn from any other source.

I like such programmes and suggest my friends to watch them. I am not against movies,
dramas or dance shows but we should watch such programmes that increase our
practical knowledge. A lot of thanks to Discovery Channel for such a nice programme.

 One of the things that I probably like the most is watching tv series. I love them!
There are so many TV series, However, I have preferences and two of them are The
Walking Dead and American Horror Story.

I didnt like The Walking Dead at first but then I started to watch season after season
and I became an addict.

But my favourite TV show is American Horror Story because is different than others
tv shows, every season have a independent story, I like so much horror movies and
American Horror Story is like fifteen hours of horror in every season and this is why I
love it!

This Christmass I will begin to watch Breaking Bad because my brother recomended it
to me... I hope it's worth it!

 One of the things that I usually do in my free time is to watch series. I watch the series
on the internet in a web page. In this web page I can access to links and I can watch
the series online.

Now, I'm going to explain two of my favourite series and why I like them.

The first one is The Black List. This serie is about criminals. It's like CSI but it's more
real and interesting. I like The Black List because each episode is different and you
never know what is going to happen.

The second one is The Walking Dead. This serie is about zombies and I love it
because they are very realistic.

In conclusion I recommend these two series if you want to watch an entertaining


serie.
 I did not use to watch tv series until i heard about Game of Thrones. The most of my
friends had watched it so i decided to do the same. Right now i am in love with the
serie and i am waiting for the next season. I have laughed and wept with this serie and
you are always surprised because you can not imagine what will happen. This a really
famous fantasy drama tv serie and i am pretty sure that if you want you can watch it
online or download it easily. I recommend you to watch it and hope you enjoy it.
