Important Information

For all activities, please report at the beginning of the time period provided for that activity

Registration
 Please carry all the documents provided in the checklist.
 Please keep the original certificates and other documents (for verification) in a separate bunch and the attested photocopies (for submission) in
a separate bunch.

Language Proficiency Test:

1. This is mandatory for all students, without which a student will not be enrolled in NLN100 course.
2. All the students must stick to the assigned slots for this test.
3. Students must carry their class XII mark-sheet when they report for the test

About Library
 A short presentation by the Librarian will provide you a glimpse of various facilities available at the institute’s Central Library.

About Security
 The security and fire safety issues are becoming increasingly important. The presentation by the Security Officer will make you aware of the
DOs and DON”Ts for your own safety and security.

Conducted tour of stalls on “Life at IIT Delhi”:


 Several exhibits will be on display showing the life at IIT Delhi in its various facets ranging from academic, co-curricular, extra-curricular matters to those
related to personal development and social activities. We welcome all freshers to this abode where they can dwell in a virtual IIT Delhi world and come to
know the institute in a better manner.
 For the tour of stalls, the students will be divided into subgroups at the venue. Each subgroup will be taken around the stalls by the student mentors.
 V. IMPORTANT : Students will be given information about NSS/NCC/NSO at the corresponding stalls. This will help you make a choice for one of these
mandatory activities. The choice for NSS/NCC/NSO has to be submitted by August 1, 2015 in an online form.

QA& TT Sessions: In this session, the new students will be provided help to read the academic Time Table. Also, they can ask questions related to the life in IITD,
including academics. The student mentors will provide answers to the queries.

Tour of Academic Area


 This will be a guided tour of the academic area of the campus by the student mentors.
 While undertaking the tour of the academic area, please ensure you know the location of your classrooms given in the time table, for the
classes starting on July 23.
Evening Games: These fun-filled group activities will provide an enjoyable interactive space for you all to adjust and make yourselves at home on campus while
facilitating effective interaction with your new batch-mates.
